Determination of the radius of curvature of a pin-convex lens by Newton's rings.
Theory:
The phenomena of Newton's rings is an unerference patters caused by the reflection and mission of light between a spherical surface and an adjacent flat surface which form a ti film of air When vawed with monochromatic light as shown in Fig. 3.1, appears as a series of cancer abernating height and dark rings as shown in Fig. 11h cend at the point of contact between the two surfaces.
