This video records an archaeological experiment at the Capel Garmon long barrow. The experiment shows how a length of rope could have been folded over and over in order to set out the barrow's design. The film has been produced in conjunction with Dr Hill's book - Experimental Archaeology and Neolithic Architecture : between design and construction.
