I knew Frank Sesno in college, where we both worked at the college radio station; he broadcast the news, and I had a music show. I remember being in awe of his seriousness of purpose and professionalism. Little did I know he would go on to have such an illustrious career! His commentary here is so insightful and informative that I listened to the interview two times.

The Left should be demonized. As a moderate liberal, I find them scary. Where are you two on CNN's failure to speak out against Defunding the Police? Change the policies and practices but crime is rampant now. " You both see a lot don't you doctor. Why don't you turn that high-powered perception at yourself and tell us what you see, or, maybe you're afraid to" said Clarice to Dr Lechter. It seems Tucker used the C-word and other put-downs of women and it was caught on tape. This contributed to his firing and he became boring to many with too many conspiracy theories. MSNBC is not simply the left-wing version of right-wing Fox News. It's true that both have strong viewpoints, but MSNBC spins its own reality. CNN has been caught in many lies and CNN puts profits first. I am rarely fooled but any of bs tv or these two's limited discussion, ignoring the bs of the Left. The Left is so intolerant of criticism. Greg Gutfeld rules.

Its hilarious to me. Liberal media is propaganda and lies 24/7. Liberal media said Trump was funded by Russians and Russians interfered in the election. Did they get arrested for that? Did Democrats and liberal media get in trouble for promoting fake racism stories or inciting the 2020 Democrat riots? What about how the liberal media ignored the Hunter Biden story? Or what about how Democrats backed Biden for president after it was known Biden sexually assaulted Tara Read? The hypocrisy is incredible.

This was such a pleasure, two real journalists have a conversation, not a shouting match, not a confrontation, just intelligent adults with integrity, having meaningful conversation! I think that anyone who is not on the extreme fringe, on either end, has long since given up on cable shows except for entertainment purposes. Many people are weary of the drama but are addicted to it at the same time. I too, hope that Frank is correct, maybe there is hope for a return to having respect for respectable journalists. Important note: as mentioned by lawyer Michael Popok from Legal AF/Meidas Touch, in settlement cases, there is an inverse relationship between wanting an apology and/or retraction and money you’ll get from the defending party. For some corporations, getting more money for damages is more important. Also, in civil litigations, you never know the outcome of the trial even if it looks strong. Hence, Dominion most likely thought it is better to get a large portion of the money they wanted right now and forgo the apology rather than potentially getting 0 after it goes for appeal in a few years and still don’t get an apology.
@barbeonline351
@barbeonline351 Жыл бұрын
I saw the Popok piece too. Dominion is owned by an investment group that paid $80 million for the business in 2018-2019. An apology/admission is worth nothing to them, at least not given the public releases of Fox deposition testimony and texts showing the corporate culpability. As far as the election marketplace is concerned, Dominion's credibility is restored. What was important, and completely unusual in a settlement, was the fact that the settlement amount was made public. The fact that Fox could have BOUGHT Dominion for less than the settlement amount is a statement that will echo for years.
@Canuck1000
@Canuck1000 Жыл бұрын

It’s not that complicated. The Murdoch empire has no interest in journalism standards other than the bottom line. Their organization recognizes the importance of 💰. The end justifies the means. In voting for Trump …. tens of millions of Americans consciously voted against US bedrock values in an act of subconscious and conscious sedition which projected itself as desperation on January 6. Yes Fox News was a unindicted co-conspirator. In fact an Australian news organization said as much… and was then sued by the Murdochs. Because the Dominion legal team totally aced their discovery … the Australian news folks were able to walk away because the Murdochs dropped their suit. In a just world …Fox News would be closed down as a “hate group”. Yes… it’s that bad.

I used to be an avid fan of CNN in the 80's and part of the 90's right on up until I realized that Blitzer had begun to express his personal opinion as if no one else had one. It didn't take me long to stop listening to him and begun to slow down on CNN because all of their talking heads began doing it. I just wanted the news from around the world but the network got rid of their overseas reporters. I have always been a reader and still am and now listen to short news videos.

Great interview ! I’ve stopped watching Main stream media I do not have cable I canceled my subscription because it’s ridiculous how these news channels like Katie said take on the personality of the interviewers. It really is just one big talk show. Great job Katie.
