Excluding the comment about being the original Gammamon, I don't see Gulus as a Dark Digivolution. Mainly because he's sentient, most if not all other Dark Digivolutions the Digimon has gone berserk! Skull Greymon, Megidramon, Shine Greymon Ruin Mode, they all went on rampages and only sought mindless destruction. Meanwhile Gulus had his own plans not only is he highly intelligent but overall he's a rare case of being a Digimon whose strength FAR SURPASSES his level! Everytime Gulus appeared vs a Ultimate level he obliterated them in an instant! Regulusmon even defeated Mega Level BloomLordmon, who easily defeated 3 Megas. Honestly the thought of Arcturusmon's potential strength scares me a bit!

Agreed, I am personally obsessed with Proximamon in comparison to Omegamon, it really balances out the light and dark elements quite beautifully considering you can’t have one without the other. Kinda like a yin-yang situation, destroying the old existence followed by recreating/restoring and rewriting an entirely new one in its place. Not to mention I always been a massive fan of both dragons and centaurs which I really love its uniqueness and aesthetics in the design, so beautiful. I really want to see it being animated and having more fan-art on it so bad. #Digimon

I've seen and heard a few things that point to GulusGammamon being the "natural" evolution line for Gammamon, particularly since in the Vital Bracelet shows Gulus as the result of simply letting Gammamon go on its own path. While the other three forms require human or outside intervention.

gulus is actually more the natural form of gammamon, so not a dark evo and its more like the others stray him away from that as 'light evolutions'. so the inverse of other digimon who dark evo as their non natural

Speaking of Sagittarimon, it is not only named for the Sagittarius constellation but also one of the Greek Zodiac. To my understanding, none of the other eleven signs of the Greek Zodiac have been translated into Digimon. I brought this up in the comments of a prior video (the Explaining Shakomon video), but what would a group made up of Digimon based on the Greek Zodiac look like? They would likely almost be complimentary to the Devas in some form, seeing as the Devas are based on the Chinese Zodiac (and I have mentioned that there are some cultural variants regarding the animals of the Chinese Zodiac in the comments of a few prior videos, it could be fun speculating what these alternate Deva Digimon are like and what it would take for them to have full Deva status). But I am still curious what a group based on the Greek Zodiac could be like and called; check my comment in the Explaining Shakomon video on the subject to see what someone had to say regarding that.

The way I looked at gulus is that it is Gammamons ‘natural’ evolution and it stems off both clockmon and the digivice, it is said that digimon digivolve naturally by ageing and clockmon has the power to speed up that ageing in others and in all the times clockmon used his powers on gammamon it will try to evo into gulus not the others and that the other paths seem to only be accessed through the bond between tamer and the digivice

Amazing video, your videos are great to listen up to while doing something like drawing and this one is no diffrente. I thought you might compare Proximamon to Susanoomon, which when the Network System descends into chaos, it will erase the existing system, and create a new one, both posses power of destruction and creation. And i think it would cool if you made video about Spirit Digimon ( like Agnimon, Fairymon, Ranamon, and so on ).

@@aliastheabnormalGhost Game certainly had potential, but it quickly became clear that the show was more concerned with attempting to be horror (while absolutely failing at that) over telling a story and having consistent rules or logic. I completely agree with you on how Ghost Game should just left to be buried and forgotten. It isn't a product worth remembering.

I think that Gammamon and it’s evolution line are good as it has different kinds of evolution it’s like the Eevee of the Digimon franchise I think Gulusgammon is a dark Digitalution of it and I think Proximamon Is a vey interesting Digimon and it seams like it would be more a neutral Digimon over being good or evil.

The true means of the digihazard is 3 triangle red,blue,green pour in to black triangle in middle. The circle is purple (purple means trap) and the summoning sword. The digital hazard power is hard to control but it can change the terrain make building and fights corrupted data by erosion it. If it ever does come into existence there are digimon that can combat at least one of Proximamon’s abilities. Daemon Ultra can disable holy powers and nd Ulforceveemon can completely ignore dark energy if it is future mode

I always thought that Ghost Game was actually a retooled reboot of Tamers. Considering how many similarities it has to Tamers and the fact that the Tamers celebration fizzled out. I think that Bandai scrapped the reboot and converted it into Ghost Game.

Versus crabby and that the environment makes the Digimon species change into a stronger organism. when are we going to get more of those?

He was also very wrong in that old video as metal doesn't really help you when the ordinary looking crab is known for just flattening the arena with a single blow of its claw. Metal really isn't that much of a deterrent to pokemon to begin with. I presume that is why he started doing the explaining pokemon series as it was brought to his attention that he didn't do fair job with the pokemon.

There are some digimon based around other letters of the Greek alphabet. For example, you could say Psychemon (a Gabumon recolor) is based on the letter Psi due to it typically being related to the mind. I doubt they'd do Taumon due to Taomon as they sound too much alike. Sigmamon would likely get something as well as Nu and Omicron. Kappamon would be hilarious considering. Honestly I'd say its highly likely.

I mean generally Alphamon is never around to the point its known as the "Lord of the Empty Seat" and only appears when either there is a catastrophe so overwhelming even the Royal Knights fail to stop it or the Royal Knights fail to up hold the good of the digital world and it a direct counter to all of them

Gammamon as a digimon has lots of potential for an interesting story but Ghost Game squandered all of it and did nothing. I am highly annoyed with the megas because they look like Royal Knight knockoffs, and I am rolling my eyes with Proximamon because it is more third grade playground nonsense. It feels like Takato had more sense when creating his digimon and its line. Gulus I would say is a dark digivolution if not an unusual one. That amount of negativity isn't normal but honestly I wouldn't be surprised if Gammamon was made to be a digital bioweapon, a digiweapon, by an alien race because the digital world's refusal of learning restraint, obsession with power, and constant bickering threatened the stability of that alien civilization. The sad part is that the alien civilization would be justified on some level.

I have to respectfully disagree with the megas being Royal Knight knockoffs and Ghost Game being squandered. Most people when watching a series will usually have characters who are well written and developed while having a story that involves a plot and there are people who don’t like it whenever they show bits of the plot for only to be shoved into the last minute which I understand why some people were upset with the ending given how abrupt they dumped the lore and leaving it open-ended. Like, yes the ending could’ve been better executed but the fight was more of a physiological conflict/mind-game regarding Gammamon and Gulusgammamon which while I understand some people were disappointed of wanting Amphimon and Diarbbitmon involved or wanted a clash between two Mega levels, I understand what the writers were going for. Sure it’s not perfect by any means and Digimon Ghost Game has ups and downs but I personally had way more tolerance within the fandom and even if the ending was rushed, I still really loved Ghost Game a lot and it’s still my Digimon series by a long shot. Also like many others, I am obsessed with Gammamon (+evolutions) and definitely my favorite evolution line as well which I definitely want to see way more of what Gammamon is capable of!!! 🥹🫶✨
