Not a whole lot of meat on this war's bones, so this video may feel a bit light on details etc., but I did my best to find out what I could. Hope you guys still enjoy it.

I can see Tsunade getting her status as a legendary healer during this war, since Granny Chiyo stated that every poison she came up with during the war was countered by Tsunade’s antidotes.

Based on Sakura with Kankuro it seems like they don't really need to counter the poison. Sakura just sucked up the poison out of his system, though they still needed the cure because she couldn't get all of it. I guess that having that sample of the poison to be studied is what allowed her to always find antidotes.

Villages don't really wage war typically. The nations they are in do. Villages are militaries for hire that usually have specific allegiances to their own nation. They will sometimes do work for allied nations if it's harmless and mutualistic benefit. Like Konoha helping a small town/village in the land of waves build their bridge (to provide trade routes).. The normal citizens and workers in ninja villages are akin to civilians doing contract work in military bases. The Feudal Lords are likely the leaders of those lands and have heavy political sway. Not all means of profit is by waging war. Nations make their money through farming, industrial means, trade, etc. Of course Feudal Lords wouldn't want to go bossing their own ninja village leaders around, because it could lead to revolt, and open up an opportunity for other nations to attack.

@@altoncadle3348 Sannin were split up during the 3rd War. Tsunade left Konoha 20 years before Part 1. 3rd War ended 1 year before Naruto was born (13-14 years before Part 1). Orochimaru was still with Konoha. No idea where Jiraiya was.

Considering the amount of 'filler' episode in Naruto. And the fact that the studio stretched out a two day war for two hundred episodes. I would say that a single battle of the upmost legendary caliber deserves a bit more time. Who knows they could always make a flashback.

I think one of the most interesting things about Hanzo's fight with the Sanin is that if you think about it the majority of the 3 may have actually been stronger in the second war then they were at the start of the series. Most people assume that all 3 of them were stronger at the start of the manga, but its pretty easy to argue otherwise, after all, Dan died in the second war and that was what caused Tsunade to become depressed and spend more time drinking and gambling then training and as for Jiraiya, as we all know he seemed to become more concerned with writing his books and creeping on girls as he got older and the world was in a time of peace. So not only was Jiraiya probably already focusing on his skills more due to the fact he had heard the toad prophecy more recently, but if there was any time for Jiraiya to put his other interests aside and focus purely on his strength, it was probably during the second shinobi war, when his strength could mean the difference between life and death for both his friends and other soldiers on the battlefield. The only member of the sanin we really know was weaker at this time was Orochimaru, since he never stopped training and if anything, got even more obsessive about his strength as he grew older.

But we don't know exactly how but tsuna didn't have byakugou (which amps her power A LOT and it's the thing that actually makes her a solid and strong Kage level threat orochimaru as you said was obviously weaker in that war arguably WAY weaker and jiraya maybe didn't use sage mode or wasn't at his max) between the 3 I would argue the only one that might have been close to his full power was jiraya. And I think 2 WNW tsuna > classic rusty and holding herself tsuna but war arc Tsunade for me is DEFENITELY way stronger than in the second war

At this Point in time Tsunade didn’t have her hundred healings jutsu, Jiraiya didn’t have the rasengan and his sage mode wasn’t perfected, and Orochimaru didn’t have sage mode or the plethora of other justus he learned after the war.

Even with zero intel on the guy, despite Pain knowing most of his jutsu, Jiraiya still kills 4 of them singlehandedly. If any of the other Sannin were there it'd be gg.

Personally I think that Sand was involved because Kakashi father Sakumo killed Sasori's ninja parents who died in the war. So it's possible that they went to the war and he killed them. You also forgot to mention that it was probably in this war that Sakumo gained his fame. As for Hanzo; he didn't just fought all the Sannin. He fought an entire group of Konoha ninja and those three were the only ones who gave him a good fight so he let them live. And generally speaking it's pretty annoying that Naruto has no (known) dating system. I mean they could've e.g. counted the years since the Sage of the Sith Paths began to teach ninshu making the calendar year xy after/before the Sage or year xy of the Sage or something. It would've made the various flashbacks, past events and wars a lot less confusing.

@@ImpatientPlatypus Nagato had the fucking Rinnegan, anyone without the six paths shit except for Madara, Hashirama or maybe Minato since he can teleport, wouldn't be able to do anything against him. Yes Naruto did beat him, but he was severely weakened since he just destroyed the village and had at least half of his chakra drained. Naruto was also saved by Kyuubi and then Minato in the last part of the battle. We can see Nagato absolutely destroying Naruto and Bee until Itachi sealed him with his Totsuka blade. Believe me, if Nagato was conscious and fighting on his own and at his prime like that, he would shit on those three.

That's because the world of Naruto is gigantic yet Kishimoto is focusing more on Naruto since he is the main character rather than building up the world, also Kishimoto was getting a bit careless at the end of Naruto and made up stuff in the manga that made no sense like why does Madara not have any mangekyou abilities or how did he get oneshot by black Zetsu etc etc. Also alot of characters (people) exist in the world of Naruto, I would say around 100mil+ in the entire world after Naruto Shippuden ended, so those flashbacks and explanations about what happend before Naruto was born, are only a fraction of what actually happened between Kaguya's first time coming to earth and Naruto Shippuden so...

I think there is just one supercontinent. It would have been great that instead of making Kaguys an alien, she was introduced as someone who came from a land across the oceans. If I remember correctly, Hagoromo said, she came from a land far away. Well, make it a land on other aide of the world. Like how America was isolated from rest of the world for thousands of years. It would have created a huge opportunity of expanding the world in meaningful and better way.

1st great ninja war heroes: hiruzen and his classmates generation(danzo,kagami uchiha,tofu,etc.,) 2nd great ninja war heroes:the sanin(specially tsunade with her medical innovation) and sakumo hatake(kakashi’s dad) which was stated to b even stronger than the sanin at that time... 3rd great ninja war heroes: the sanin again,sakumo, fugaku uchiha(this one it’s a underdog)but specially the yellow flash from konoa(minato) Indeed they were a lot of borderlines and many battles from different borders taking place at those times,despite my love for this franchise,there’s a lot of lagoons that need to b covered,like said in other post,wich they can made a canon spinoff covering all this major events,but not sure if this ever materialize...😕

wish you went over the filler references/events to the 2nd ninja war I felt like stuff like that is necessary in giving more info plus making the video a bit longer, whether or not most think it's not important... I like filler and see worth in a lot of it.

The kages also count as their war general, kage decide their attack plan sometimes and are insanely powerful meaning they’re a key piece in who wins if they participated in the fight which would mean not physically participating in the war as a kage would likely make you lose, unless your village is just so powerful it is really difficult to win without using yourself as a piece

In the war arc they explain that the leaf always does well in war because they have the Nara clan strategically in charge while the Hokage leads from the front. I find it weird how the generals in these armies aren’t necessarily the smartest or the best leaders, but the most physically powerful.

Actually I can think of a good reason for that. The kage are effectively persons of mass destruction that can equal an army by themselves... but you only have _one_ per village. This means sending your Kage to the front lines leaves your village open to someone else's Kage annihilating it in as little as an hour. The same is true of concentrating too much of your forces in any one place. If the other side's Kage shows up and your own isn't there to counter, that entire force is likely gone in a single engagement. This situation means everyone fights conservatively to avoid that nightmare scenario of their kage taking the field and winning a battle, only to lose the war because someone else's kage turned your village into a moonscape.
