I got to explore an abandoned island in the Maldives.
We have just sailed across the Indian Ocean on our sailing catamaran and have been in the Maldives for just a few days. We have already seen so much, by squeezing every drop out off these past few days.
Hi, in case you don't know us, we are the Kiwi Boys. Two of three teenage brothers who are liveaboard sailors seeing the world. We've been living on the ocean for the past five years and are loving it!

Dad coming through with the save at the end! It amazes me how much plastic can end up on the beaches of a deserted island in the Maldives. It's absolutely crazy! Keen eye on spotting the turtle nest. Hopefully other lobster hunts went better than this one did.

Love that clear water, it just amazes me how Ivan can open his eyes in that salt water like that, I can't even open my eyes in fresh water. Would love to fully explore that deserted island, Nice little bottle also. I would so love to be there. Great video. Got to share it also, hope it helps.

"Empty-handed but storyful." Nice phrasing, Declan. Keep up with the journal -- before you know it you'll get some serious inquiries about publishing. (I remember Anna Whitaker wrote a piece that was published about her sailing experiences. Quite good.) It would nicely complement your vlogs. Best regards.

Mocha is the cutest bunny. Tell her if she ever gets tired of boat life she can come live here with me in Canada. Summers are hot up to like 40 C in summer so she can luxuriate on my patio. Ha. BTW how is your older bro, I hope he is doing well. Thanks for posting your adventures. 😊

You two actually do a lot during day time!! Just showing us those paradises, thrugh videos or pics, is amazing. Declan, what you are writing is a diary or just notes for the vlogs? It could be a great book if it is readable. I remember the live video when your parents were pointing at you on the island, saying you went to explore. Sad to see debris ("strange logs", nice way to draw attention to a big problem) on such beautiful beaches. Also, sorry for the sunnurnt, only thing I don't envy😂 Use more t-shirts (though I guess it bothers while swimming). Impresive underwater clips... Sorry also for the 0 lobsters, even the highly optimistic prediction by Ivan, haha And last, I agree with Mocha, wise cat! 😂😂 Big five for the video, it deserves it even if Rachel left you hanging (funny, epic fail to end another fantastic episode in the KBoys life!).

Outstanding video! Thanks for sharing your adventures. Lot of great shots you are very creative at editing! Sorry the Lobsters were elusive. Try early mornings like the crack of dawn better luck next time. I guess that’s why they call it fishing 😂. Ivan and Declan keep up the great content !
