a cool piece of info i just found: Patients with acute mania were put in black rooms, patients with melancholia in red rooms. “There are violent rooms for mild forms of insanity; blue and green rooms for the boisterous, and a white room for the person who is practically well

i love the phrasing "mild forms of insanity." its so silly to me for many reasons because imaging a doctor being like "describe your insanity to me on a scale of one to ten" like they do now with pain- i find that a little goofy. i know there was horrid things that happened at these places but "mild insanity" is so funny to me

@@crispychickentenders8039 that's not really how it's classified. It's more based on severity of the symptoms like depression compared to psychosis.

One of the few urban explorers I’ve seen act so respectful, I’ve watched a couple of videos now, and the quieter voice and not disturbing the building is awesome

You are the first urban explorer I started watching and I just want to tell you even after watching many others you will always be my favorite. You don’t sensationalize anything for views and you are always so respectful of the places and seem genuinely interested in not just the buildings and physical items left behind but the stories of the people that once lived or worked in the different places you explore. I don’t recall if you’ve ever mentioned it in any past videos but I’m curious if you believe in ghosts or if there’s anywhere you’ve explored that you were creeped out by? Thank you for the amazing videos and keep up the great explorations!

thank you! i do believe in the paranormal however i do not believe that every location i have been to is haunted. i have had a few unexplainable experiences but to be honest a majority of the time when i get creeped out in buildings its just due to something silly like a random noise or me scaring myself😅

This place is on my list for when I’m traveling. Most of the asylums where we live have been heavily vandalized. Great to see one in it’s simple stage of decay.

Even though this is dark content, you make me feel calm with your voice. I get to watch you and see this building without that artificial unease a lot of creators want to add into abandoned content

It makes me sad that they treated african Americans segregated even in a hospital .

The one wheelchair that seemed like a bed may of been for people with certain disabilities who can't hold themselves up or control their body really and so they may have to be in a laying down position permanently or need there legs being held up. Or it could of also been a way to restrain some more violent patients but also allow them to be able to get out of their room.

Thank you for the upload very interesting especially the colour used, I feel this was an attempt to bring some form of positive stimulation to the place, I guess the latter stage before closure. Your voice is super chill. 👌

I don't mean this as shade or anything like that, I genuinely have this question, why do you have this whispering voice?.. I can deal with it but at times it gets a bit hard to listen to.. no judgement on you. Please don't take this personal. I just found yall through "now this" and I subscribed cuz I love this content! Lol

i usually whisper to avoid been heard or noticed inside of a building to reduce my chances of getting caught, especially in a place like this one since it is on an active campus! glad that you enjoy the content😊

1: Incase the floor isn’t very stable. 2: If she makes a lot of noise, she might get caught if there’s a guard. 3: It’s calming for some people. ( like me ^^ )
