This episode we hit the dirt and explore 2 epic natural wonders in Outback Queensland, Cobbold Gorge and Undara Lava Tubes.
We say goodbye to Karumba and travel 450km to Cobbold Gorge in the heart of the Savannah Gulf region. A private property opened to the public to experience the ancient landscape and spectacular beauty of this outback location, Cobbold Gorge offers guided tours and various styles of accommodation including powered and unpowered camping. The Gorge Tour is world class and showcases the incredible landscape and unique Aussie wildlife that call this environment home including freshwater crocodiles, and includes the newly installed glass bottom bridge, not for the faint hearted!
Then we travel 230km further east and set up camp at Undara Experience, now owned and operated by Discovery Parks. We pack in the adventure with 2 tours of the incredible and ancient lava tubes, the Archway Explorer and Wildlife at Sunset. This is such a fascinating environment, with access to the Undara Volcanic National Park only available to those staying onsite or booked on one of their many tours.

We were at Cobbold gorge 2 yrs ago. Loved that place. The road in was ok then. We also did the helicopter flight. Wow that was amazing seeing it from the air. Also loved the tubes. So many lovely places this country of ours has to see.

Wow that was super special. I love and appreciate how you give us a total concept and with that i realise that you must also have either a camera filming or putting a drone up and with that you would miss some of the experience yourself and that is what i want to acknowledge - Thank you for all that you do. Desmond frost here from auckland new Zealand good evening the good feel family I am not quite sure where you are how far is geogre town from the main city's anyway the photos I have seen as I am texting this message the gorge was unbelievable seeing the cross in the gorge was incrediable by the way do you guys stop for lunch I planted 8 rose/s they cost me 500 dollars one of them is called tropical skies that was amazing sunset you guys show us by the way our petrol in new Zealand is over 3 dollars the wildlife tour looks amazing is it hot during the day and cold at night I have still got September 2024 what amazing video

Hi Desmond. Georgetown is very remote probably 6 hours drive to big city like cairns or Townsville. Love the name of your rose tropical skies - it’s very mild temperature at the moment during the day 22-25c and cool at night 11-15c

@TheFeelGoodFamily Desmond here yes my rose will be exploding a range of tropical colours we have had buckets of rain Iin auckland and, through out the, country those temperatures look a bit cold you guys seem to be in shorts I suppose its the long distance/s you cover our petrol is over 3.00, for unleaded yours is under 3.. Is that right are your vegetables cheaper potatoes our rock melons are 5.00

Desmond here yes there a lot of new Zealanders angry at the moment cost of living health housing taxes reading potholes we are right in the middle of election campaign people want a change they want labour out like they did in australia the same day you guys vote for a voice in Parliament new Zealand is in a crisis strikes prices going up we are hoping to have a new prime minister Christopher Luton a former ceo of air new Zealand the leader of the national party you probably never heard of him you have so many things happening in australia
