Amazing people - Quiet streets - FUN YET QUIET, CHARMING full of life yet with serenity? This tiny little town is amazing! Some districts are as busy as MIAMI, yet others and quaint as any small town USA. Nothing but positive things to say about this little gem of FLORIDA. I was shocked at how warm, and welcoming and friendly the people were. Honestly you guys (subscribers) were right again!!! A palce where you can vacation and have a blast, yet retire in peace. #BEACHTWON #VACATION #ENGLEWOOD

As an Englewood resident for the last 25 years..Jersey transplant..would never think about living anywhere else. Great people, good schools for the kids and perhaps one of the last "sleepy towns" in Florida!

I’m becoming g a fan of this channel . I grew up I. South fl. Naples , Sarasota ,Bradenton,Tampa,PC,, cutler ridge . Haven’t been back in years . Thanks for bringing back the memories dude

Glad to help! I recently visited Cutler ridge what a nice town, love the gardens there. I want to visit tampa for the channel soon. tampa has been one of my favorite towns since i was young. family there on himes, armenia area so growing up i always went to tampa

Visited Englewood for the turn of the century Dec 1999 to the new year. With childhood friends we walked on the beach picking up shells, and made some amazing food in their kitchen. Thanks for covering it, appreciate your insights.

I LOVE Englewood! My daughter and her beau opened Irving's Coffee & Creamery on Dearborn St. in 2018 not long after our first visit there. Dreaming of retiring there some day :) Thank you for the video, FHV!

Went to Englewood's farmers' market December 2021. Great selection and atmosphere! More selection than Venice's market. But I like both. Ate at Artur's, formerly Howard's restaurant. Weird eastern European menu combined with seafood. Delicious. Also had lunch at Farlow's on the water further east. Excellent fish.

This area has things to do if your travel a little. Boca grande my favorite. Wauchula is neat downtown quite small town.

@@claudiahansen4938 its not much of a town, but its small cute little downtown is great to get a small town feel around here which is rare. Theres a great little pizza place and the farmers markets hold local honey some are the best wildflower honeys you can find. Again small yet nice for a boring day trip to small town. Arcadia is even less of a town tho bigger for sure, 20 antique stores is the only attraction. 🤷 not bad that we have a few small towns inland as well to switch things up.

Englewood is a great place to live. I grew up near it in North Port. A lot of old friends live there. And Publix. People will fight ya for the Pub, Sub. Best Sandwiches anywhere. Ya didn't say anything when ya went over the El Jo Bean bridge

How did you get so knowledgeable about Florida? For 20 years I worked with a company that put us in many (all) different areas of Florida for about four months at a time. Pretty much all your videos reflect my experience and observations as well.

@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS -Snowbird season, just like anywhere in FL. But, so far, the stretch between Venice and Fort Myers, we aren't hiding the coastline with high rises. IMHO, I don't mind the tourists as much as the developers who are building thousands of houses in the Englewood, Rotonda, North Port area.

I agree 100% about Englewood and it's people..No Snobs here...But you went to only one of the 4 beaches on Manasota Key ..Normally it is white as snow..and all of them are just as good as Naples or Siesta Key. I was chatting with one of my nephews earlier today and he told me he had moved to Englewood, FL a few months ago. I told him I was jealous because I would love to move to Florida (currently live in Michigan) and he offered an open invitation to visit whenever I wanted to. After seeing this video, I'm almost ready to take him up on his offer. He's a bit of a wild child so I probably won't take him up on the offer anytime soon. Too bad, Englewood is such a beautiful place!

I've had them nest in the lowest limb of a pine and just be looking at ya when ya come out of ur house LOL. Like they are saying yeah? Wassup? What's it to ya? lol

Yep food and groceries are cheaper in the hood. And there's always the best tasting restaurants right in the hood. Only thing is up is the gas prices and rent lol

Great video Jose! Englewood beach was the first beach that I ever saw in Florida. A good friend of mine got married on the Beach 17 years ago. I’ve been on many trips to Florida since then but that’s one of my favorites. Thanks for making all these videos, my wife and I enjoy watching them. They are very informative.

I prefer the Panhandle area. Much More Beautiful. The Beach is a turn off. It Just doesn’t Compare. The Panhandle Beaches are the best I have seen in this country. You are putting the work in to build your success. If there is one thing an old guy can pass down is “ You have to make your own luck.” Keep at it!!!

Are there still lots of Latinos in Albertville? Can't wait to visit this area one day. I know the houses are cheaper than Florida but I am afraid for finding work and also state taxes which we don't in Florida.

@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS there is tons of Latinos there. But I wouldn't bother moving man. The place is dead the best pay you can hope for is 10 to 12 bucks an hour. They work you like dog. There are no rights for employees there. But the housing is a little cheaper. We are planning on moving to Florida at the end of the year.

I love a deal, but some of those places may not be safe. Safety first. My income is not high, but my health and safety first. I rather live in the smallest house and budget on everything but not my safety.
