I gotta admit as a long time fan of the game I can't help but be skeptical of the show and have a sort of "brace for impact" attitude for the premiere, especially after HALO. I'm glad that Mr. Goggins seems very enthusiastic about his role, though, it helps put my mind at ease. Hopefully it's a hit like The Last of Us!

Begging my fellow Fallout fans to let this show become something great. It might take a bit but I truly think it’ll get there. Don’t bomb it with bad reviews after 2 episodes. A lot of us have been waiting our entire adult lives to see a Fallout adaption on TV and I just think it would be a huge mistake if everyone just scrutinizes the shit out of it right out of the gate.

It’s good to hear Goggins didn’t have to wear contacts, for the sake of his own comfort and the fact that contacts don’t really look as good as real eyes or CGI. I do wish they CGI’d black or bloodshot ghoul eyes but that would’ve taken a good chunk out of their budget

I have a good feeling about this show.

I played hours on Fallout 3, New Vegas and Fallout 4 and I initially was skeptical of this show because of disturbing trend of spreading the "message" gaslighting the fans rather than making a proper TV show and often poorly integrating diverse cast. Fallout is surprisingly tolerable, yes it got diverse cast and interracial relationship, but it is integrated far more seamless than other TV shows such as Lord of the Ring and Witcher. Lucy is the main star, but the Ghoul/Howard stole the show, He is literally the bridge between the old world and the wasteland and Goggins did a wonderful job portraying 2 characters convincingly.

This man rolled a natural 20 when it came to charisma.

When Madame Webb came out, you can tell there was no love behind it. The lead wanted to stay as far away from it as possible. But here, I see love and passion. Will it be perfect? Probably not. But the hard work and passion is always contagious. I'm thinking even if it have some flaws, even if it goes a direction I wouldn't like, I'm going to enjoy it just because of the effort and care they put in this. I know that article came out, Nolan said something about not pleasing the fans, but honestly I think there's some truth to it. You can't make everyone happy. But this is Fallout. It was always full of camp. I don't have high standards at all and they already put in the bare minimum as shown in the trailers. I see people complaining about oh "he said 'drugs' not 'chems'" or "oh the power armor shouldn't sound robotic" and I'm like, DUDE you got a fucking GHOUL druggie in practical makeup being all bad ass acted by Walton fuckin Goggins and you got a power armor made with practical effects WHO TF CARES

Honestly you could take out everything else and just keep the ghoul and it would still be an awesome show

To be honest, Walton goggins has always been a fantastic actor in what roles he plays. He puts a lot into it perfect casting playing the ghoul but I can’t say the same for the lead character in fallout which meant to be a male but because of a disgusting way, the world have to be these days we have to have it as a female lead
