We stayed here 4 yrs ago. My cousins stay here all the time. It was a beautiful hotel. Loved the little town and exploring the area. It was a nice change from our go to spot Lake George

The round building seen at 10:58 was built for the 1980 Olympics, hosting the "Austria House."

“This is an insanely pretty area” said as you were in front of our former home of 30 years. Wowww. I was checking out YT for the Chance I’d find a recent view of my old hometown. What a bonus. Was surprised at how dead Main Street was. Only one or 2 pedestrians besides you. Thanks for posting and providing the mini history lesson.

You're worried about the road being yucky with no sidewalk.😂🤣 I walked it back and forth to the high school everyday. Not uphill both ways, one way is enough! LOL No, generally, school doesnt close for weather unless the busses won't start. It's changed since I was in school but, it's where you live. You know how to navigate it and act accordingly. 😊

People who relocate to Lake Placid all say the same thing. They love it but the winters are long.

I did! Actually bought a couple of books too, but didn’t record anything (maybe I should have). It was just a kinda standard bookstore inside even though the window display was really cool.
