I visit the Mausoleum of Chairman Mao, The National Museum of China, The Temple of Heaven, The Hongqiao Pearl Market, and the Beijing Olympic Park with the Bird's Nest (the National Stadium of China).

Looks like every city of China has a pearl market. Shanghai even has 2 maybe 3 pearl markets. I once bought some simple necklace and earrings in Shanghai's pearl market. Nice and cheap.

"As the Chinese hate rain" lol. Not really. Overall, north part of China is dryer. But south part China is famous for its foggy rainy weather in spring and summer. I am impressed with your full-packed timeline of visit. It is one of perks of traveling alone. And lucky in China, you will never feel "lonely".

It was just a bit of a joke 😉 Quite a few of my Chinese friends absolutely hated the rain, but it certainly doesn't apply to everyone. Glad you're impressed, although I'm definitely going to take more time in each place on future trips!
