CHONGQING, CHINA - FINDING THE BEST SKYLINE 🇨🇳

7 жыл бұрынThe fourth day of my journey around China, where I travel from Shanghai, to Chongqing, Chengdu, Xi'an and Beijing. I explore the centre of Chongqing, visiting The People's Liberation Monument, and the unique Hongya Cave. I then head over to Nan Bin Lu to watch the sunset above Chongqing's amazing skyline.

Really interesting. Peoples Assembly Hall looks like the Chongqing Grand Hotel that I stayed in in 1986. The transformation of the city leaves me speechless.

Jason Billam Travel oh that's a bit disappointing~ but was it cheap? I'm going to stay in Chong Qing and Cheng Do for 5days~ do you have any place where I must go??? And how's the cost there? I hope the transport cheap there.

Well it was private room, so you can find cheaper options for shared dorms on Hostelworld. As someone who's from the UK, I consider Chongqing and Chengdu to be very inexpensive (although that may not be the case for everyone).

How come!? You must be able to find a few hotpot restaurants on Nanbin Road. Turn right when you were facing the IFC (the skyscrapers) and keep walking for about 15 minutes, you'll find a fancy hotpot restaurant called "Bai Le Tian". I think it's still open. : )

Beautiful! I really hope you will go back and cover the BEAUTIFUL green city of Shenzhen where I lived and worked for 8 years - and to other places in the South, like Xiamen and the island there, Guilin, and Hong Kong, Macao, and Zhuhai areas. How about Mongolia?!

吳Ronaldo - It’s mostly pollution, I lived there two years. My home is near Jiang bei, excellent view of the river! I even hVe friend work in the public health department, and her job is monitor it, and is one of the lowest air quality indexes for China.

No, and the fog is pollution, despite what they tell you. As a former resident, and bio-engineer, I tested it. Is very high air pollution and water levels. Don’t drink the water, even if you boil it! Buy bottled water! Winter is worst time to visit.

Chongqing is hot, girls are hot, people's temper is hot even explosive, dishes are hot....I once ate on the food street and boy, the stuff was full of staph aureus bacterial, LOL, I almost shxxt my pants and the nearby hotel saved me.
