exploring the world of failed youtuber music careers
Hey everyone! welcome back to my channel :) i thought we could look at the current state of youtube's music scene this week considering it seems that almost every youtuber right now is starting up their own music career. previously i did a video on tana mongeau's music career which you guys seemed to enjoy so i thought we could do something similar but this time involving more youtubers! obviously there are way too many to cover for this to be a complete ~reaction~ to youtuber music as a genre but i thought it’d be fun to look at a few and see if they’re as bad as what we’ve seen in the past or if they’re starting to get better (spoiler alert, many are still not very good lmao). sO hopefully you guys enjoy venturing into the music careers of youtubers such as the dobre brothers, loren grey and trisha paytas! :) also side note apologies in advance for the mic issues, i have no idea what happened considering i haven’t changed the settings on my mic but it seemed to pick up my hands near the mic a LOT more than usual (while filming i have a tendency to grip my hands a lot?? idk how to explain it i think it just helps me keep on track lol usually the mic doesnt pick it up but i guess in this video that wasn’t the case. im going to start looking for a different mic soon tho because i honestly just feel like the one i use is not that great sO if you have any recommendations please let me know!! ideally i'm looking for something that’s simple to use lol. ok anYWAYS im finished now i promise, really hope you guys enjoy this one and as always if you've got video suggestions throw them my way~*~~*~*

I'm way to old to even understand the point of the Dobre twins but honestly, every time I've seen them I just think that they look dead??????? Like, legitimately like they died, were buried and then dug up and reanimated. I don't get it.

it could also be greed/having no business acumen in the industry they want to work in. They may refuse to hire songwriters because the songwriter is the one who makes the bulk of the money and owns the rights to the song. so they have a lot of control over what may be the only song the youtuber gets known for. Or it could also be that no good songwriters want to work with them.

A concept: a youtuber's music career is only truly successful when people don't even remember they were a youtuber in the first place. Case in point: Troye Sivan.

There’s no excuse for “being tired” look at Kpop idols, every meet and greet they make sure to interact with fans like every single one of them that meets them in someway. Idols work for HOURS every single day to train like clockwork and they still can put that tiredness or crankiness aside for their fans. I understand they are tired, hopefully tho this situation makes them reevaluate how they interact with fans, and what’s acceptable/the right thing to do.
@SimoneintheSkies
@SimoneintheSkies 4 жыл бұрын
I mean the industry they’re in is a prison system, but the idols themselves seem so nice.
@Ashethetics
@Ashethetics 4 жыл бұрын
Idols (and other real celebs, singers, actors etc.) when they get to a certain level, actually train in meeting fans and stuff. Stuff like how to act but also the best way to pose on camera for fan shots etc. what to say to fans and the correct way to come across to them in a positive light, to best represent their movies, music. Many of them start of as super shy, for example, but especially Idols are trained to each have a distinct “personality”, and to be in that character at all times when doing promotion (that’s why Idol groups all so happen to have a cute shy one, an outgoing one, one who’s the good looking and they know it one, the aloof one, the kinda rough but you know they have a good heart one... when you see interviews with them, you really see it. It’s like the boyband industry in the 90s.
