About us:
We're Jack & Megan, and in late 2020 we sold our belongings and packed our lives into our 2005 Toyota Troop Carrier to travel Australia. Our original plan was to complete a full lap of Australia and return home to Perth to resume our 'normal' lives. We decided we wanted to document our lap for the future and began sharing weekly travel vlogs of our life on the road and fell in love vlogging, filmmaking and sharing our lives with you. We completed our first lap and couldn't imagine living any other way so we decided to continue travelling and calling the Troopy home. We have gone on some crazy adventures since then and it is all thanks to you tuning in to join us every week.

loved the simple but nutritious food you guys prepare, you should do a set of meal cards with ya pics on one side and the meal instruction and pic on the other - sell a set of 10 or 20 in your merch and bob's ya uncle 👍🤠😜

Love the vidoes. I spent half my life on Fraser Is and now live in Cairns. Jack if you fished around the rocks like Poyungan or Yidney rocks the rod and setup would have been fine. Fishing for Flathead., whiting or bream. The beach camping there is some of the best, and the roar of the surf and the fresh sea air makes you sleep well. Enjoy and look forward to the next video

Yes you probable should research Surf Fishing lol, oh to be young again, good to see you's enjoying the Island, and i'm sure the float ring thing will be a good addition to the travels, we used to use Truck & Tractor inner tubes, they were good to sit and sleep on as well.

Another great vid. Jack you just need to learn what fish you catch with the set up you have....... I have caught bucket loads of good size whiting near where you were with a small boat rod. Remember bigger is not always better.. It's how you use it .🤣

Jack i had same problem when i was young. I had to spend 2 weeks sleeping on my back on the floor. The Doctor couldn't give me pain killer because of i had had stomach ulcer before. You need to do exercises that stretch your spine to allow nerve to go back. The pain killers wont do that. I had to go to get my spine manipulated. Walking and driving was very painful. Love your show. Bought a troopie now. Your welding was great. You should be proud.

Nice deflection by Megan by subtlety changing the topic when discussing whose responsibility it was, for why the strap got burnt.😁 It's a refreshing change seeing someone actually being cautious when 4WDing. More and more 4WD/Touring channels these days seem to show who can get the highest wheel lifts, can get up the steepest muddy hills by revving the bejesus out of their engines, and get the most panel damage on their 4WDs. I'm loving your pace of your travel, and what you share. Another entertaining vlog guys.♥👍

Hey Megan for blowing up them. floaties, you squeeze the sides of the little air inflow thingy,, it opens a little flap to allow the air in easer, u might’ve already sorted that, And yeah I’ve noticed l you guys are super cautious, 👍. But when your in QLD your allowed to be loose as. 😅🎉. The West side is serene. Love your work.

From the fishing gear you had, you chose the correct option. You could of caught whiting or Dart on that. Bigger rod for sure. Still trying to catch-up on missed videos and watching them out of order.🙃 Marty from Perth

Any time you have a lure or bait in the water, you have a chance to catch a fish. Rod is fine, you cant cast 30m out... but 10 is enough. Should have used the spinny lure, you could have got a tailor close to the shore.
