In this video I run tests and analyse the data regarding: The R-36 Eruptor; CB-9 Exploding Crossbow; Plas-1 Scorcher; SG-8P Punisher Plasma; Jar-5 Dominator; GP-31 Grenade Pistol; Grenade Launcher; Impact Grenade and Thermite Grenade. I do this against various bug enemies including Chargers and Bile Titans.

FAQ/Corrections:
Q1) Can you explain your testing methodology please?
A1) I run nearly all tests on Difficulty 7, this in case of hidden scaling, although my tests so far have shown no difference from 3-8 so far. I try and get at minimum 5 clips of the same results to confirm the test. If I come across any outliers I will try and test them and see if I can consistently replicate those results. I discount any tests where I can’t be sure the enemy was at 100% health, or I miss and hit a different part of the enemy. There are many hidden mechanics in the game though, such as the hitting armour at an angle and others. This is why I try and get lots of tests in and will use language like, "inconsistent", “Approx”, or “About” if I don’t have conclusive data.
Q2) Any addition data on “Durability Damage”?
A2) I can see the impact of it in multiple tests but it’s very hard to pinpoint exactly how it works, especially as often it works on sections that are them impacted by the -90% damage from non-explosive weapons. Data mining has also found titles such as: “Damage Multiplier Damage” “Projectile Durable Resistance” “Armor Angle Check”, which are all a bit elusive and could impact tests in ways I don’t understand currently.
The AR-23 Nursing Spewer tests are very interesting. Using the best data mining info I have, both guns only have a 5hp variance when killing the target, 877.5 - 882. The explosive weapons other than the Eruptor and Impact Grenade which seem to behave strangely, also get near that 880 value. Punisher Plasma 750 to kill, Scorcher 1000, I’m slowly understanding it more.
Q3) How did you come up with the health numbers for the bugs?
A4) This is guesswork and why I put approximate numbers in. The issue is that I am guessing that it can all be impacted by the details in the above question. For most I took the lowest two values, often the AR-23P and AR-23 base version. Both of these weapons deal fairly low damage with less overkill. I have a good idea of the Durability Damage on both also. The Nursing and Bile Spewer side health shown was taken by including the 90% reduction, adding the Durability Damage at 100% for the total. The 812 - 900 is right in the range of the Scorcher also.
Q4) I would love a spreadsheet with all this data!
A4) As I’m running tests, I am populating a spreadsheet with all this data. I also hope to work with some people in my Discord server to flesh out a lot more data. I will hopefully have a shareable spreadsheet soon!
Q5) Why do you put the word “Three” on the screen in text at various points?
A5) It has been made aware to me, ((often in a nasty way :’( in the comments)), that I don’t pronounce words with TH very well, instead making the FFF sound. For clarity I have started putting the text on screen to be clear on what I am saying. “You get (three) ammo”, instead of what people hear as, “You get (fffree) ammo”. As a child I had speech ffferapy ;) because I still had not spoken at 4 years of age. This is likely the reason I have not developed a very good TH in my pronunciation. P.S. My Mum sometimes wishes I never learned to speak as I now don’t shut up :)
