Export for iTunes: Copy playlists to SD card or USB drive

In this video tutorial, you'll learn how to use the Export for iTunes app to export your playlists from your Mac Music Library to an SD card or USB drive.

Note that with the Export for iTunes app, you can only export music that you own, like purchased music or music that has been imported yourself to your library. The only songs that appeared in the "export for iTunes" app were not able to be transferred, they were highlighted in red & it told me that Apple doesn't let its users put songs onto a usb because it is DRM protected. How do I get around this?

@@paulfranklin8604 hey this happens for me if the song is not purchased. you need to own the song, or if you have downloaded it off the web it work too... but it cannot be a Apple Music song, you don't own the rights to listen to the song off of Apple Music. hope this helps!

Does not work with music download from Apple. Don’t waste your money on the app.

You mean that doesn't work with music from Apple Music streaming service. It is clear in the description of the app and in the description of this video that you cannot use the app to export DRM-protected files. You can export music that you own, like purchased music or music that has been imported yourself to your library.
