I get you with taking supplements to make sure you have all the nutrients you need! But I'm surprised that you didn't use Soylet, CompleteFoods or something like that to get your macronutrients because it's more efficient and it seems that you eat meals to keep your body running rather than for enjoyment^^

@@unionfire oily fish contains a lot of vitimin D, but they contain a bunch of vitamins too so its probably just the way they store vitamins/minerals in general rather than some unique abundancy of vitamin D.

@@unionfire milk and plant-based milks are usually fortified with vitamin d, since you need vitamin d to absorb calcium. however you'd need to drink 2 cups per day though which is quite a lot.

as someone who is also vitamin d deficient and takes pills, it's wild the stuff lack of vitamins affects. i have severe brain fog when different vitamins are low to the point that i can't focus on anything- he's right to say to not just buy it because you can, and it's definitely good to get a blood test to check because deficiency is no joke!

I always respected this abt trash taste since the beginning and it’s that the chemistry is so magnified and compared to other podcasts; a lot of personal nuance can be be lost, sometimes other podcasts tell stories without giving enough context, sometimes there’s too much dead air, it can take a while for things to get going, but with trash taste everything for me personally. 🤘

Vitamin D deficiency is a huge issue in the Nordics. It's really important to combat during the winter, and there are studies showing that depression is related to it. 20+ pills are too much, you'll mess your self. Ask your doctors before taking them in bulk, even the over the counter shit.

Vitamin D deficiency is one of the most common, though never start taking vitamins without consulting your doctor. Some can kill you if you take to much. You get most of those vitamins from food, though some people (Like myself) have messed up genetics and cannot get those vitamins from my food.

52:17 Usually the catch there is that the questions they're asking aren't "Pick one product to recommend" its more like "Of these 10 products, pick 5 to recommend" and so the doctor is recommending not in a "this specifically is better than the rest" way, but rather a "this is not bad" way
