Extended coverage: Crane arm catches fire, collapses in Manhattan

These crane has oversized cooling system, so the maintenance record of the crane is surely in question.

@@QiuyuanChenRyan916 I operate CNC machines utilizing titanium. As a transfer metal we have fire suppression. It seems dangerous to be that high up with no automatic suppression. Their inspections seem non existent. You couldn't pay me enough to risk my life for those owners.

It's not going to be "incredibly difficult" to get up there and assess the damage. And they will just have to erect a 2nd crane to dismantle the damaged one.

Thought to be a hydraulic fluid leak or diesel fuel leak, either one will ignite on a very hot engine or the exhaust system
