It's always depressing hearing how scummy orgs like LiveNation try milk every dime out of artists with sleezy practices. Crazy to think they even reserve rights to even do sales while still pulling all profits from catering, alcohol and such. I remember Jon and Lawrence (the band) talk about it in a video Lawrence released like 9 months ago. They mentioned how they were charged for things like Production Managers that were never actually provided, for 500 bucks a night. Actually criminal.

@@CBo-li3rg lol, he came out to JT, “LONG ISLAND I NEED BOTH HANDS TO THE F*CKING SKY” was the first words I got to hear him scream 🥺 he made us sing the New York soul chorus 3 times causes he was being “selfish”, and he did WTFU and GTFA for the encore, section 3L, Row F, seats 3 and 4, of course I still have my tickets too hehe. How about you? Who were the three openers, in order? I’ll give you a hint, Lawrence came out last, no googling no cheating!

Wasn’t familiar with this guy at all until seeing this clip. I know thjs much though and that is going forward he’s got a fan in me no matter what he does with his career. You can tell this kid is genuinely a solid good dude and loyal and not a bullshitter with an ego. I look forward to watching the full podcast now and learning more about him and career.

Listened to Dennis Llyod talk about the same type of stuff! When his hit Nevermind took off and he signed a record deal, he found out these same things. So he bought himself out of his label deal and went on his own too.
