In one of the coffee chains that I have worked in, we weren’t actually allowed to serve hot water to ppl. Something to do with them not being insured if someone spilt it on themselves cus they hadn’t actually bought it off of the menu. U are right tho, there are a lot of ppl who do just enjoy it

Keep the Birkenstocks! They look perfect on you. It is fun to find cool socks to wear with them. So easy to be creative and bring a little joy to the day. I even learned to knit socks just to wear with Birkies. Noro yarn is beautiful. Once they mold to your foot it is hard to switch to a style forward shoe. Hope you enjoy them!

Grace you are the only reason i go on youtube anymore you are such a genuine person. I definitely feel you with the lockdown thing. I became a better version of myself during lockdown and i actually had a nice 2020 but last year was the worst year ever. and trying to adjust with covid and having a social life again was hard. I got gallstones and was ill most of the year, i started my own small business and went into a hole. the first two months of this year i was in such a dark hole and now i'm finally seeing a brighter place and slowly easing myself back into the real world of no restrictions.

I always say it and I'll say it again . . . I ❤️ Banks! She's so cute and she reminds me of my sweet Molly who passed in 2020. Molly liked her creams, too. Ice cream, whipped cream, sour cream . . . We'd always reserve just a little for her. You make me smile, Grace! 😊

When our Grackle says she needs new oven or was dreaming of new shoes I just wanna gift them to her! Most deserving, genuine and loving human 😘❤️

Working from home tip: have a dedicated space. Don't use it for entertainment, rest, anything else but studying and working. It doesn't have to be a room, in my case it's just a desk I don't use any other time (I work from home for over two years and I have a very small flat), I only sit there for work. It creates mental barrier that helps both ways - your brain learns to focus in there, but also getting up switches you to non-work state, so it's easy to disconnect when you need to.

My girl has worn Birks for years, with socks, cause it's cold in Canada! Funny how excited we get for snow in the fall heading into winter, but by April we are done with it! Haven't had a 17C day yet, but I'm sure we'll have one or two before it's 29C June 1...that's what it does where I am. Spring temps for two days then hot and humid for 3 months...oh well, nice to have the changes.

I love my birk bostons but I’d recommend spraying them with a suede protector my dog got mine pretty grubby pretty fast❤❤

I have some blue/grey sandal birks and I love wearing them when I am baking! So random but my toes get really cold quickly if I just wear socks. I am really funny about slippers so I have a socks and sandals moment whilst baking 🤣 I wear an 8 too and people make out like its a weird size but they are always sold out so someone is buying them 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I’m a cetaphil fanatic, cerave face products never worked for me either but they have a lotion for rough and bumpy skin and it saves my sensitive legs so much pain from razor burn!
