I naturally did this as a teen.. never diagnosed, but I would say if I have it, it is mild and only gets worse when under stress..i never knew what “it”was, just accepted as the way I am! Find what works for you! YOU are uniquely designed and God loves what he made in your mom’s womb!! ❤

So that's why I always have a tv show on when I do chores 😅. I am amazed at how often you suggest something for ADHD I'm like, check! I do that already 😂.

It works for stuff where you don't have to think, like cleaning, but not for 'decision making' stuff because I can't listen to smth WHILE going through paperwork or even sort out stuff where I have to think and decide.

Idk why but I cannot stand folding clothes but when I listen to music while listening to music... It literally makes a world of difference

Lauren really did an amazing job! I find it SO funny that others with ADHD can multitask like that! If I'm watching a show I'm focused on the show! I try this while folding laundry, only to look down during commercials to realize I'm still holding the same sock I started with! Maybe I should just stream commercials?! 😂

I do this too, but the type of media makes a difference for me. If it's anything new (movie or TV show I haven't seen, etc.), I focus on that. But if it's something I've already seen or heard, I can sort simultaneously. Even better if I've seen it multiple times, like a favorite movie or listening to music I love. That way, I can focus on what I'm doing, but also take a break to sing along with the movie for a minute or during my favorite fight scenes, or whatever. That's what I do.

@@alyssaf1285 Doesn't matter if I've seen a movie or show 100 times, not happening! 🤣 Music, yeah, that keeps me going and moving!!
