This video almost never happened! I didn't know if I was going to be able to save these ones. I had to resort to some drastic cleaning methods (that I do NOT recommend you try unless you know for sure what you're dealing with)- this was a last resort for getting these clean.
Two days of work though, and these two pieces are unrecognizable from their former selves, and two more are spared from the landfill (which they likely would have been headed to, if I hadn't taken them on)!

I just had to replay the end of this video to look at the end result again. I can honestly say that after watching about 10 different furniture flipping channels for two years these are my very favorite pieces. The wood finish with the mat black and great hardware make these pieces really stand out. Just gorgeous.

I'm sure you buy these, haha!! I say it every time, you are simply amazing, I bow down to you...Seriously, you get me every single time!! How you make the pieces come alive again, the wood, doesn't even look like it has the possibilities, of turning out like it does!!! The whole piece, doesn't even look, worth, trying to save!! Fabulous!!!! I was suggested another restorer's video at the weekend, all I kept saying was, "Angie wouldn't do it like that, OMG, Angie wouldn't do this haha" They kept filthy, full of fluff, well you'll know, pads on the feet of the pieces of furniture, then painted the legs, fluff and all........my pooch Harold, just looked at me concerned lol So, yes, you are the best!! much loves, Jacq u.k

They look great! I have to admire your determination! Mouse poop/pee would have been a deal breaker for me! Hantavirus and all that. 😬 To anyone who comes across mouse poop or pee, be sure to look up how to properly clean it up before doing so because it can be pretty dangerous, especially if you breathe in any particles that get into the air by sweeping, for example. Putting the drawers out in the sun was a good idea. 🙂👍 I think bleach and sunlight are the way to go. But I digress! The dressers look fabulous -- I love what you do to save furniture! Great job and have an awesome day!

OMG! I just love all the different wood grains! And, THAT is probably why the original manufacturer used thin veneer over the top - MCM pieces rarely used that many different kinds and grains of wood in one piece. I counted 4 or 5.....that is a lot, but absolutely gorgeous! And the black totally sets off the stain color and wood grain(s), S o...W e l l...D o n e! 🤩🤗
