On May 26th 2015 a large group of habitat junkies gathered to pay tribute to Scott Bishop, a habitat guru who passed away in 2014. Part 1 of the video covers a tribute to Scott, and a discussion panel with a group of Michigan deer habitat experts, including Ed Spinazzola, Mike Hartges, Dan Timmons, Bill Vale, and Jim Brauker. They fielded question related to deer habitat, including food plots, old field habitat, native grasses, and deer cooperatives. An auction was held to sell speckled alder trees and other donated items, including a game call known as Bishop's call, handmade by Michigan outdoor artist Brad Robinson. Combined with voluntary gate donations, the Southeast Michigan Branch of QDMA raised $7,500 which was given to the Bishop family to help to maintain the habitat in the future. Part 2 features a tour of the deer habitat on Scott Bishop's property.
