Darker tint just gives the car a totally different/better look. Night time will be an adjustment but you’ll be all good. Glad you finally made that happen 💪🏽💯

I went with the lightest tint possible for the windshield. That limo tint is cool until you can see at night. No one wants to put their windows down at nighttime in the winter or when it's raining 🤣😅🤣

Found out that incase of an accident and your windshield is tinted it prevents the glass from shattering because of the film. So basically tinted windshields saves lives.

I have 5 on the sides and back and 40 on the windshield at night the only issue is backing into parking spaces. I suggest getting darker tint on the windshield bc your eyes can easily adjust to the lack of light. When you have a windshield that has light or no tint your eyes will take in all that light and make it seem like your sides and back windows are darker than they really are.

70% is the legal limit here in NY, I can't believe you did that. But I have 5% on the sides, and 20% on the front on a Chevy Impala. Folks be thinking I'm the police LMAO.

I got 40 on the windshield and 15 on the sides and back, your eyes eventually adjust to it at night. Looks so good at night and cloudy days.

Tint shops usually wont go darker than 45% to avoid people from reporting\snitching on them when they get pulled over. Cops in MD area always ask where you got it done when they get you for it. Ride looks dope and much better with the entire windshield done darker. Has that sinister look!

have u been pulled over at all? I recently did 5% on back windshield and back sides, 15% on the front side windows and wanted to do 35% on the windshield but I already feel like its too dark sadly.. When I'm driving in areas with little lighting at night I can't see shit lol Think I should have done 15 or 20% all around and 35% on the windshield

They put about 30% on top of your 70% tint. To bring it down to 20%. 0.70 x 0.30 = 0.21. 21% still looks good though. Better to do it that way. You would have to pay for them to take off the 70% and clean the adhesive and for them to lay one layer of 20%. Additionally stacking 30 over the 70 (Double layer) gives a darker appearance then a single layer of 20% This goes for all desired percentages that are double layered to achieve a certain percentage rather then a single layer.

I got 6,000 lumen white led high, low, & fog lights do you think that would work for at night? It gets brighter at night when I turn on my fog lights with my low beams. I do also live in country but I don't do a lot of night driving but I'm going to keep that in mind

I have a Kia Soul and I have 5% all the way around and 20% on the windshield. A few months ago I had 35% on my windshield but was waiting for the weather to get warmer before I went a little darker. I’m in Georgia and I haven’t been bothered by police, even if I’m right next to one at a red light. It’s great and I love it 🥰 I gotta roll my window down to turn left at night tho lol

I have 5% ceramic tint all around with a 6 inch brow on the front window.(30%)... I had a '07 Dodge Dakota with 5% window tint all around with 30 % windshield and a 6 inch brow. Now that was dark...

In NYS the only thing I worry about is that they changed the laws that you cannot pass inspection if you have your windows tinted which makes it a hassle to take them off every year to then put it back on. Your scatty does look sick with it bro

70% Ceramic Is good when you want some added Heat Rejection but don't want to get hassled. I install a good amount of 70% for my older customers. I have only done 20% twice I mostly suggest 50% Ceramic to my customers. 20% is just to dark but it looks good.

Before you tint windshield....get LEDs or HIDs even a light bar

I put 20% All around the whole car including the windshield. Complete wrap around and it looks good all evened out.

I’ve tried it all for windshield percentages. 50%, 60%, 70% and lighter all great at night, not enough privacy. 30-35% is the best balance for nighttime driving and privacy. With really dark sides, the windshield looks pitch black at certain angles at 30%. I can also drive it at night with zero issues, though heavy raining and fog is kinda sketchy but survivable. 20% was just a hassle at night. Ripped it off before I could get home

Bruh im over here in philly i used to have a 2012 chevy impala it had 15 all around and a strip on the front ive been stopped over 10 times for Window tint and only ticketed once and i think that cop was a rookie.

Only thing that sucks is idk if your car has a sensor for the lights in the window but when i tinted my camaro it was so dark it blocked the sensor so it was running my night running lights. lol until the sun hit it a certain way to run the day running lights

All this technology that exists today when are they gonna create window tinting that can be activated the way you turn on a light dimmer. You can adjust the tint with the push of a button or the turn of a switch! That’d be sick! On really bright sunny days go dark as safely possible or on cloudy, rainy days and at night lighten up the tint a little.

I did the same thing today. Smh. Now I have to get my 70% removed and get darker tint.

I gotta admit KO I was a p***y like you.2013 blacked out Chrysler 300c.35% all around, then initially went with 50% on the windshield looked like nothing! I was pissed.Felt I wasted money.Drove like that for 2 months made appointment to retint, so I want 35%.Instead of removing the 50%, the shop put another 50% on top which they said was roughly 33%.Looks better, but Im not totally satisfied and plan on going back to get to 20%.I looked in a car with 20% and you can see easy from the inside, but dark on the outside.20% is the sweet spot.Also if your other windows are 5% you can do 30% on the windshield and it will still look dark.Dont be a puss.Go for it 20% or less.
