@@ggburr7516 just keep practicing and focus on not being tense, when you master one speed keep increasing until u arent tense, practice is key. Also practice different techniques. I like moeller technique a lot

4:22 "this song has no click" - EXACTLY, I discovered it only when tried to play it on drums using a backing track. I have several multitracks of old Slipknot's records and none of them has straight rhythm so you can't use the click. The only way to play their songs like that is to keep doing it and develop the "feel". Good job, man, +sub!

Ross Robinson was notorious for wanting drummers in the studio to record without a click track to get a more organic/live feel. Truly wild considering some of the groups that he recorded
