Wonderful instruction. Appreciate your efforts. Very helpful for a beginner to see the different glazes used for different designs. Looking forward to more instruction.

This is just beautiful!!! I thought it was going to be so hard to do but I can definitely do this! Maybe not such straight black outlines though. You have such an incredibly steady hand. I had no idea the EZ Strokes went to cone 6! I would love to see more of this kind of tutorial! Even though you had the sample piece finished I’d love to have seen the finished piece.

Why on earth do they not sell EZ strokes anymore!! They were so fun to paint with even for detailed watercolor kind of looks. I really miss them and this video is on 11 months old. Are they coming back?

Select EZ Stroke colors are and have been available at authorized distributors.

How much practice does it honestly take to get that precise with your brush strokes? Watching you paint and apply glaze is mesmerizing. How is the EZ Stroke different from the Stroke and Coat glazes?
@MaycoColors2 жыл бұрын
It is all in the technique with the brush! You just have to start slow and get used to the pressure variation. EZ strokes and translucent underglazes and Stroke & Coats are opaque glazes.

My white faded out over the black firing to cone 5 - I also tried firing it to cone 5 without the white dots, then adding them on a second cone 04 firing and they still disappeared. What's the trick?

Hi, nice project! What does Mayco have similar to EZ’s? These are underglazes, right? Thank you!

Our Fundamentals Underglazes! These can be thinned for a more watercolor look if desired.

Hello! Could i use stoneware line on eatherware? Thanks!
@MaycoColors2 жыл бұрын
Our stoneware glazes will not mature at earthenware temps.

Carmen, I know this is an older video, hopefully you'll reply. Any chance you could use Stroke & Coats in place of the EZ Strokes? Just because I already have a bunch of S&C. 😊

They are two different things. You can try the Amaco watercolors that work like these. But we need EZ strokes back.
@MaycoColors Жыл бұрын
You could try thinning down Stroke & Coat for this technique to make it more like a watercolor.

What is the difference between Black Gloss and Stroke and Coat after firing ?
@MaycoColors2 жыл бұрын
So in this particular application, there will be minimal difference. In general, Black Gloss is a more stable cone 6 glaze. Stroke and Coats are designed for cone 06 so when they are fired hotter, they can sometime blur or bleed into other glazes.

The EZ Stroke will not be shiny and it more likely to show the brush marks.
