From a modding perspective, how hard would it be to make the conformal fuel tanks removable? Assuming a not perfect flight model for without them

That means basically starting over with a new F-15E model. The CFTs are not a separate piece that can be turned on or off like the nozzle petals on the Razbam F-15E model, so I would need a new F-15E model with the CFTs modeled separately.

Currently F-15C, but in the future I plan on re-releasing it with a custom cockpit that more or less matches the one that the F-15EX has IRL.

Before asking this question, I must state I have absolutely zero modding experience in DCS aside from installing skins lmao. However, with the release of the beautiful (albeit still unfinished) F-15E module, how difficult would it be to make an F-15EX mod based on the F-15E module instead of the F-15C module? Im aware you are working on your own custom cockpit, but from an outsider (and uneducated standpoint as well), it would seem simpler to use a pre-existing system like the F-15E thats already been designed, right? As least for the majority in terms of avionics.

No, it’s based on the F-15C module (the one that you can get individually or from FC3) and currently the mod has the single seat cockpit when in first person view, but Spino is working on a custom cockpit
