So these tires aren't huge, but they're representative of what a lot of guys are running on their diesel trucks. Can the truck still be somewhat economical if you need to commute in it? Let's find out! #superduty #diesel #trucks

Would I be assuming correctly that the odometer was not corrected for the larger tire size ?, if so the truck travelled further than it thought it did which in turn means your fuel economy is slightly better that what the computer or a hand calculated gas pump refill would lead you to believe.

Modern diesels just don’t make as much sense financially as they used to. I have a 2023 F250 Tremor with the 7.3 gasser. On the factory 35s and with the 4.30 gears I can get 15 on the highway, 13 overall average and 8-9 towing a 38’ 10,000 lb travel trailer. I really considered a diesel when I bought the truck, but the $12-14k upfront price jump coupled with $1.50 more per gallon here in NY just made it prohibitive. Very happy with how the 7.3 pulls, honestly pleasantly surprised.

I've had the opposite experience with Diesel. When I tow my trailer with my Diesel Gladiator, my MPG drops from 22 to 15. When I towed that same trailer with my gasoline Grand Cherokee, my MPG dropped from 18 to 9. I've had a much bigger MPG drop with gasoline than Diesel.
