On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.
If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020 or even dogfighting in Battlefield 2042, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. You can fly all kinds of combat aircraft including the F-16, F-15, F-14, JF-17, Su-27, Mig-29, Mirage and the F-18 Hornet along with many other aircraft and helicopters like the Ka-50 and Mi-8.

Imagine: you're flying your country's standard fighter jet. You know the enemy is flying stealth birds locally. You know you are getting close, but nothing on RWR or radar. Suddenly, your RWR goes off, and a blip appears for but a second on radar before disappearing. Your RWR does not stop. You have no idea where the missile came from, nor how close it was fired. Suddenly, your aircraft explodes. You are dead. This is what it's like to fight a Raptor. You know it's there. Somewhere. But you have little hope of finding it, let alone destroying it. If you're close enough to see it, that is only because it allowed you to get that close.

Disagree. We just going to forget he fired on him 3 times? Two of which were way too close for comfort? He was all in on the fight until WP reversed him and had him dead to rights. In the schoolyard that would be a kid getting a few punches in on an opponent on the ground and then conceding the fight the second you're able to get up and get into a position to pummel him. Maybe you don't beat him unconscious but he's definitely getting a trademark around the eye. No, you didn't "surrender", you got outplayed and now you die for it. He wasn't surrendering when he put those two 2s downrange at him. He should have accepted his defeat like a man and frankly, WP should have been happy to dole it out considering their flight lost an F35 shortly afterwards. One F35 and pilot is worth 200 chinsect pilots in their knockoff fighters. Just my opinion though

Imagine how terrified the pilot would be in a real life scenario, doing his best to get across that he gave up, only to just see the Raptor on his 3 just flying straight and watching like the UFO it is

People are rightfully awing over the flanker surrender because that was cool, but I'm just happy to see my favorite missile, the AGM-158 JASSM being used in a GS video

That guy never would have given you the same respect. He probably went back to re-arm and will come back out and try and shoot you down again. If it’s a target you take it out it’s an asset that you let your enemy continue to have. He could easily have ejected, and you take the asset away.

Man the absolute respect from that 2nd J-15 & the F-22. I sure hope that stories like these exist and continue to happen in future conflicts. ❤

👏 awesome love the team up with the F35 this is really what is was designed for, as a support/addition in a strike group I’d love to know the actual laws of war concerning surrendering in a fighter jet, and would any ally aircraft be given the same courtesy

A surrendering jet pilot would be like Christmas for the intel guys.

If they offer to surrender, why wouldn't you take that offer? So long as surrendering means the pilot landing his aircraft at one of YOUR airfields. You certainly wouldn't let him go home so he can come back and go up against you again another day.

I think about the surrendering thing and having to explain to superiors... I bet in this day and age the guy jettisoning everything can be found out.. he probably would be in big trouble... the other guy took more of a risk of injury and death ( he didn't move so a cockpit kill would of been less likely) but if he was returning home it would look better for him. Unless the pilot wanted to defect... then the logic of the first pilot would be better, disarm and then fly to nearest american base. I could be totally off on all counts, but the real world implications of that act got me pondering possibilities.

Yes but only within the limits of duty. Once the fight's over there is no need to try to kill each other, so he granted mercy.

That j-15 pilot is actually good he did his best asses his situation and came to the conclusion he can't beat an f-22 in a dogfight.

Man that Flanker was an exceptional pilot, thinking outside the box with some great ideas to try killing a Raptor, and in the end knowing he was beaten did the only smart thing.
