You're doing a Practice run on Death Wind 1. All is well, you've cut through the corners well and you're about to dry-boost to the end, this should be a personal best ! But before you reach the finish line, the environment begins shifting, the winds are now blowing in all directions rather than always to the east, and the finish line disappears. Processing all this, you then see Dark Bumpers appearing out of the sky, going about slightly slower than you do rather than the usual sluggish speed for a Bumper. Their behavior matches that of Blue Bumpers, but they are almost perfect in attempting to block your path. After dodging one of them, you then hear a muffled, evil laughter echoing through the deadly winds as the sky turns from a pale maroon to a color matching that of a rumored twisted clone of Captain Falcon. Dodging more and more Dark Bumpers, you finally get to the refiller and heal up your energy. After taking the dash plate to where you hope the finish line is, another black machine drops from the sky, bigger than any Bumper, or any F-Zero machine for that matter. Once again, the evil laughter echoes, this time much clearer than before. As you catch up to the mysterious machine, an ominous voice then speaks up. "I am Black Shadow, ruler of all. Surely you know my noble name. [Pilot Name], accept my challenge, or you will soon become wreckage !" Mission : "Outpace the new opponent and complete a lap !"

I could see this being used for an SNES version of X's "Death Race"

Another one I’d like to do a cover of. This feels jazzy just like the original F-Zero. Very very cool

Feels like Death Wind if it was in a alternative timeline where it experiences never ending typhoon level storms. Awesome.
