F-ZERO: Hybrid is here!
Combining 10 classic F-Zero & Satellaview courses into 5 Hybrid tracks, F-ZERO: Hybrid brings new challenges to the familiar feel of F-ZERO's gameplay.
Courses are faithfully recreated including, AI behavior from the classic games. If you are a die-hard F-ZERO player, then turns, collisions & general flow should mirror what you are used to... until suddenly you find yourself driving on a different track!
Difficulty has been tuned to be accessible while remaining challenging amongst a wide variety of skill levels.

- 5 Unique Tracks which combine 10 Classic F-ZERO (6 from F-ZERO & 4 from BS F-ZERO 2 Practice) courses to form "Hybrid" League
- Second "Hybrid Mirror" league with courses flipped on their Y-Axis (Left turns become right, etc.)
- CD-Quality (MSU-1 / PCM) Soundtrack*
- Customized Horizons / Color Palettes
- Custom Tiles & Tile Properties (Additional North / South jumps, other cosmetic changes.)
- Custom Title Art

Unzip everything to a folder & patch an F-ZERO USA ROM (.sfc) with the included IPS. Be sure to name your patched ROM "f-zero-hybrid.sfc" for the new soundtrack to work!

This one was a lot of fun. I enjoyed the addition of the flashing barriers around the second pit lane, as if to warn you of the windy danger just beyond.

I like that this is easier than Wildfire Wharf as if it's a celebration track to make for a more relaxed GP finish, but I also think it could've swapped positions with Wildfire Wharf and be the 4th track instead. Mind you I played with sub-bare minimum skills to achieve 1st on beginner on both of these tracks

It took me a couple times playing this track to notice that the Dash/Jump section in the beginning was a nod to Metal Fort 2. Nice touch there!

I believe these hybrids also include potions of Satellaview tracks as well. It was a nice touch against the guardrail...😂

The background sprites switch don't they? I noticed that too but never thought much of it. I thought the energy bar was intentional though

I noticed that too, not sure if it was intentional, bugged, or perhaps overlooked/missed. I think it actually suits the overall color palette of this track, to some extent.
