5:48 this entire trip down pit road was comedy gold, from the williams braking super early, to the one car not having a rear wheel as you see it bouncing across the pits, and then finally a full on collision to cap it all off

Those cars were so light they spun under braking if pushed too hard… that doesn’t really happen nowadays.

Of course it does. If you lock up a rear tyre or touch the grass on the entry, it is an instant spin. The cars now may be heavier but they also have much stronger brakes

It still happens when the brake bias is rearwards, easy to lock under braking and spin, like Joe Grosjean did in Baku 2018

In this season there were a lot of crashes and mistakes from the drivers who fighting for the campionship: Alonso Belgium Monaco and China; Vettel Silverstone, Belgium, Turkey; Hamilton Belgium (he won the race in the end but almost crash against the wall), Italy, Singapore and Japan Webber: Australia and Korea

Yes and there were also some reliability issues in the mix too, especially for Vettel. It was a great season, possibly my all time favorite. Each race felt unique and to have 3 teams, 3 manufacturers going at it all season was so exciting.

@@jraybay Yeah. He get power failure in first race which cost him a win, feel like Leclerc Bahrain 2019 version or South Korea 2010 engine failure Let's not forget Button crash in quali left him not able to participate Q2 in Malaysia, or he would make it to Q3 easily.
