exactly. They are currently ~128dB loud yet people complain that they are too quiet but in the same sentence praise the V8s that are 129dB lmao

@@nevercommitsuicide if you have never heard them in real life you can't make a comparison, the vibrations of the v8 enter you body when a car goes by, this is just loud and the vibrations are less than when you smash a door.

@@CTcuber4K In my opinion, the V6 turbo sounds pretty good. It sounds crisp and the sound of it at low speeds are amazing.

@@CTcuber4K Yes, they claim that V12-V8 sounds better than V6, and I have no problem with that. I like the V6 more than the V12-V8 (Hate incoming). I like the V6 sounds but what matters the most is there is a championship battle going on right now and it makes the sport exciting.

The problem about this engines is the loudness. I've been at 2022 F1 Italian GP - Quali - and at Minardi Day at Imola: in Monza I was at the first variante. The tone of the V6 is very good, but you start to listen the cars' noise only when they approach the corner, and maybe 3/400 meters after. Even the F2 has a loudest engine (you can clearly listen to a F2 car when it is on Ascari from Prima Variante). In Imola there was some old F1, like V10 Minardi or V12 March (the orange one, driven by Brambilla). I was in the straight, and you can clearly listen to them from the Rivazza. Even if you go to Tosa, you can clearly listen the car coming from the Tamburello (about 10 seconds before the turn) and straight after approaching the Piratella and Acque Minerali. Before F1 Quali there was a Porsche GTE race. They were SO MUCH louder than the F1. The sound is good, I love the electric sound combined to the classic one, but the fact that after the Curva Grande it was completely silent made me quite sad.

I personally find the Alpine sound the most pleasant to hear, the video takes away a lot of the feeling. Honda engines look fantastic in downshifts
