We go over what you need, any extra options and how to use forscan to enable remote start. no dealer required. This is part of our continued XLT to Platinum conversion. Remote start on these newer trucks is very easy to install. Some Ford Dealers will have you trying to buy things you do not need in order to make the factory remote start work on your truck. This video will show you step by step on F250/350 Factory Remote Start Install! This is something you can do for very cheap if you just get a Ford key. I will have a link below to someone selling refurbished OEM keys. It is the OEM chip with a new shell and blade to have cut to your truck. You only need 1 working key for your truck and this will work. Other than having your key cut this is a complete DIY project. No need to pay anyone money to program your keys. you can do it all with just a laptop and OBD2 adapter. If you want to install remote start on your 2011-2016 F250 or F350 (I am pretty sure this works through all of the super duty trucks F450,550 ect) This video will show you how to install remote start by yourself, and it is a factory remote start which will work well eliminate any confusing wiring harness from aftermarket.
