Hey guys! First of all, I want to apologize to everyone for this video and to the owners of the Challenger and Camaro. Bimmer-Tech has found out that this tune can make the car potentially gain up to 100bhp. I was not aware of such a thing until today. Initially, I was told the car would not gain any power, I confirmed a few times. The tune maker claims now, that the car can gain up to 100bhp with this new map, I was told initially otherwise. I didn’t want the M3 tuned, never planned. So this is unfortunately not a stock M3, again I want to apologize to everyone.

The tune definitely adds HP in a sense, because you're sitting at the peak power band for longer times.

A tuned twin turbo M3 versus stock v8's 😂😂😂. This piggyback tune on the M3 is equivalent to the Carbahn piggyback. Gives you 30-40 horsepower and torque gain with increased throttle response but keeps the car within limits to not hurt the engine

great races...the M3 is very potent right out of the box so the results shouldn't really surprise too many people. Given the weight of the Challenger I think it did much better than I expected.

I don't think this was far at all. You have a tune vs stock cars. I lost interest right away after knowing the M3 was gonna win every race because it was modified. Not a good way to compare cars.

Now lets compare prices too???

A tune on force induction cars is such an advantage, even over a tuned NA car. Plus that BMW is unrated from the factory. Great runs

Would have been better if he ran a ZL1 and a Hellcat instead of the non boosted versions. Not really an equal or even fair comparison. Not only are they closer to the same price range of the M3, they are also boosted engines like the M3.

The challenger and charger 392s are big boats. Most other cars with the same horsepower range beat them easily. Even the Audi RS3 that only has 401 horsepower easily blow the doors of these boats.

Do the same upgrade to the Camaro and its faster. The Camaro is the better performance car specifically the 1LE and its not even close

The f80 m3 comp makes about 450whp which is about 517 crank hp. They are underrated from factory. Plus a DCT and it makes sense. The m3 is also 200lbs lighter than the Camaro. Also the Camaro makes 400whp = 460 crank hp. And both cars are doing the exact same 1/4 mile times as stated by each OEM. So this is basically stock vs stock cars. The f80 m3 is pretty damn fast for an old car Either way the m3 would have beaten the Camaro even if it was stock

Sam, the Awaken tune does add about 15% more hp and tq to a M3 Comp. So you are close to 500 hp and 449 tq

Tuned car vs stock cars is a no brainier the tuned car would win

Even without the tune, bmw is rated at the wheels while the other two cars are rated at the crank.

So basically they did a drive by wire response tune, probably fixed the trans tune and launch control ramping in boost quicker by advancing spark and timing. Which doesn’t translate to upping power but rather makes more power faster giving better times and response.

Roll racing in the Camaro. Use manual mode to keep it up in the revs..once you hit the cone ..punch it and put it into drive and let it shift itself.

That small tune gave you a big win each time 😂

We know the M3 is faster, but the best way to race those scats from a roll is to start in manual mode so you get the right gear, but switch to automatic as soon as the race starts because you can't shift better than the car can automatically.

Tune + boost. But nobody ever mentions that. I tuned my turbo daytona and it only got 3 more psi and of course an actual tune and its a different car.

A tuned 6.4 would be taking this the whole way. Seen this in person comp m3 with tune scat tuned scat 0-60 3.6 seconds. M3 4.1 seconds. Glad you got an amazing tuner sir!

I don't doubt the outcome, but next time have a third person counting out the start. There may be a slight advantage when it's the person racing...even subconsciously. Kind of expected that the M3 would be faster in the 1/4 mile...it's lighter.

You're kidding yourself if you didn't think the tune added any power lol. Yes, stock for stock the F80 is faster than both those cars, but not by that much.

Sam if you think the dodge makes more power its comical lol....Bmw underrates there cars hp and torque by at minimum 50hp on all there turbo cars

Tune and down pipes on a s55 is not a small tune those cars stock compare to Each other why would you run a stock 392 and SS against its rival but tuned the rival when it’s supposed to run those cars stock

That’s not how you shift an 8 speed automatic. You leave it in drive, press the paddle to the desired gear, and floor it and let the computer shift it. You would think “professionals” would know the car’s better.
