Also a little bit of Faerie magic to suit the season.
This short video took me six months of my spare time and considerable effort to produce. I think it turn out pretty nice, and is a good sequel to my original Faerie Forts video. I hope you all enjoy it. 🍀

Well done what a great video and thank you for sharing. My father often spoke of the little people and he grew up within the whole rural community respecting them in the village of Mayobridge County Down. 🙏

My Mayo mother told me once that supposedly one could hear the faeries in the forts. She said that it was probably a remnant of the times when poor suffering families were thrown out of their homes for not paying rent and ended up in the forts. I remember visiting my father's brother in Leitrim. We walked to the top of a hill behind his house and you could see the forts all in a row across the countryside.

Hello Mickey, Thanks for your support.👍. The Rough Fort is 1 mile west of Limavady. Take the A2 for Ballykelly , then turn left , of the A2 onto the Moneyrannel Road. You can`t miss it from there. It`s National Trust so access is no problem, there is an information board on site. 🍀

Hello and thanks. 😊.Unfortunately I am not really familiar with West Wicklow/Kildare. I was there when I was very young, but sadly haven't had the opportunity to explore more of the area, along with many other places. I normally study an OS map of an area for raths and other historic sites. I enjoy the hunt, and its a good day out. Good luck. 🍀
