Those tiny fairy stamps are so cute. And the two bits of lace you attached with twine turned out so good. I have to try that idea some time. The entire journal is gorgeous.

She's a beauty, gator mouth and all. I especially like the sentiments. And the tiny envelopes with their tiny tags. I have always loved miniatures and I can imagine the recipient of a journal like this getting great pleasure from finding these little treats.

Hi Barbara! I love those little fairy stamps OMGosh how adorable. I learned that if you put a magazine or a stamping mat under wrinkly paper the image prints better because its hot some sponge under it. I even used a mouse mat from the dollar store that has a fabric cover. This journal is soo super cute! I love it ❣ Those little lace headbands are such a nice touch. I have never heard of that.☺ I believe in fairies and I believe in you!

I love this so much! It's my favorite project I've seen you make which, considering everything you do is wonderful, is saying something! I am such a fan of the 5 hole pamphlet stitch for a larger journal. The first time I did it I thought it would be so hard and I watched a tutorial so many times before starting. Once I got into the rhythm of it I found it so natural and much more sturdy. Now, if I could just find some of those beautiful stamps you've got!

Great journal (as ever)! When I do a hidden binding/hollow spine, I sew the signatures through the fabric onto a thin piece of card the size of the spine - this slots into the spine of the cover and gives more structure so there's no 'sagging' and the signatures don't drop forwards :)

Beautiful journal. I just made my first with a hollow spin. I used iron-on Heat and Bond. It’s made to fuse fabric together for hems and appliqué, and works well with fabric and paper. Very durable, and keeps the fabric from fraying. Also great for fabric backing on bookmarks and tags.

Beautiful journal! 😍 The bookbinders glue you're using is a great glue and you can definitely make it a bit thinner by adding a few drops of water. It will be so much easier to spread, but it's still very strong. I use it for almost everything. Just a tip! 😉😁
