❤️❤️❤️❤️ This turned out beautifully. I know that my collages are always lacking and need more, but I never know what to do with them. Thanks for admitting that you struggle sometimes too. Walking away for a while, texting a picture of the current state of my project to a friend for fresh ideas, or searching thru ideas I’ve pinned or saved all help. Hi Barbara! Wow! I am so so so glad you kept going.... it was so pale and blahhh! But, you did it . The stenciling the splashes the tea spray... all of it was needed. I like to add acrylic paint to my gesso when doing backgrounds. Burnt Sienna or Raw Sienna are my two favorite pigments to use. I've also used drops of acrylic ink to color my gesso. That way you are not left with such a stark white, and it gets the page/cover/whatever started in the right direction.

This turned out great. Up-cycling is my jam. It's always a good idea to step away from a project and come back to see it with a fresh set of eyes and I love how you kept adding more detail to it. The black splatters gave it that little bit of grunge it needed. Love it!

I keep seeing others getting that great packaging. I order stuff and it in a plastic bubble wrap mailer. Of course I use them to hold "stuff", but the cardboard packaging would be so great!!!! Your cover is WONDERFUL!!!!!

I love how relaxing your videos are your voice is so soothing and your work is amazing! I need to put all those Amazon pkg’s to work for me. Me and Amazon are great friends! Lol. I decided to join The Digital design club. I added up all the money I’ve spent on digitalis and found that this would save a ton of money. The digitalis are Beautiful! I love using Amazon packaging, my favourite is the smooth chipboard envelopes. This turned out great, I've also seen people leave the flap on to make a great closure. Lol I'm the same with glue guns, Tina can use it on pearls and gems!💖

How Barbara? ...just HOW??? How do you do this? This is gorgeous and each time you were "done" I was amazed. You just know, y' know? When I was first discovering the JJ world there was one statement - I have no idea who said it - but it was, "When your cover (or tag or pocket... whatever...) is finished, add one more thing and THEN its finished. It was then I felt like I'd found my long list family. Again, this is gorgeous AND inspiring. TYFS, MK 💗🌞🌵 and MUAH back.

It’s my first time here and I’m sooo happy to have found your channel 😊 I absolutely love the way you craft journals and find that you have the answers to the ideas I’m having but am struggling to figure out how to execute properly. I have been thinking about how to make a journal cover for the past few days for my set of 6 travel journals that I plan to use to document my journey and the information I receive from The Apothecary at Home subscription box.
