I mean we have two main villains. The first one is mentioned by name in the first 12 episodes and gets mentioned everywhere. Basically eventough we only see him over 100 episodes later, we know him well enough. He had massive build up. The second one is a force of nature. Everytime he shows up we lose massively. We only get mention of him once before he shows up for the first time. Both show up first in the same arc in the middle of the story, so basically that's when shit gets real. So while villain of the Season is kinda true, especially in the first half (most of them come back tho) it does have main villains. You just didn’t notice them too much.

Fairy Tail does have a main villain (two if you count a certain someone), which we first see in opening 9. However the goal of defeating him doesn't exist for our main cast until way later in the show. The true premise of Fairy Tail is to have a never ending adventure with your friends and family (the guild Fairy Tail) and thus has no need for a chase after the main villain. So while we get new villains (almost) every arc, we still get a lineal storyline. A lot of the characters from previous arcs actually come back or make little appearances and that counts for new friends as well as previous villains. Personally I love the show for what it is wholeheartedly and believe that it is worth a watch. Is it a perfect show? Probably not. Does it have flaws? Yes, but which anime doesn't have some? And depending on who you ask, some things might be worse for some than for others. But hey, fans and haters can at least agree on one thing. The soundtrack is a banger XD If you can sit down and watch some of the longer anime's, then you can certainly sit down and enjoy Fairy Tail which has 328 episodes, 9 OVAs and 2 movies ^^

There were already a lot of characters in the guild, and I told myself that it would be nice to put forward, a girl* the author wanted the main series to be easier to follow from the point of view of the second MC she´s in the same position as the new readers she also does Natsu´s job of Story Narration instead of him because the author said Natsu can´t narrate for the readers to gain readers' empathy Natsu a kind of guy, who shows, what he thinks through his actions The characters are fun and some are badass and the backstories are good sorry for the long words but it had to be done to avoid confusion

Back then the Fairy Tail Manga was rivaling with the other big three ( like One Piece ) in sales even though Fairy Tail was in a different magazine compared to Shounen Jump the series is popular & it has a huge fanbase , it´s canon sequel is getting a anime too that should come out this year The Story is good it starts a bit comical and brighter but later on the arcs get darker It has The main villian of the story but the Fairy Tail openings did a good job hiding it they made it seem like a villians after villians kind of series but the story does has a connection they drop hints in early episodes my favorite Fairy Tail openings is 3 , 1 , 8 , 16

328 episodes + 2 movies. And few OVAs Fairy tail might not be everyone's cup of tea. But the ones who do like it, adores it. So I do recommend that you give it a try. It's a bit slow at the beginning but gets better and better and peaks at the mid-late section. But then falls down in terms of writing in the final series since it was kinda rushed by the author. But as a matter of fact, this manga was on par with the big 3 in sales department during its early publishings but then many people started hating on it (and still do) because they didn't want their favourite manga to be showed up by FT suddenly. But ig the hate is justifies when you think about it lol. So it's totally upto you whether or not you watch it. Also do check out the Fairy Tail endings as well. It have some pretty good songs as well

The 2 main bad guys are Zeref and Acnologia. Zeref appears for the first time in the 9th opening and Acnologia is that black dragon that appears at first as a shadow in opening 10 and then later in the last opening as the main villain they have to fight.

The reason the one piece op video seemed longer even tho they almost have the same amount its because op didnt have endings to there episodes so they just made the ops 1 minute longer compare to the normal anime ops

Yes the show is all about magic. Fairy Tail is one of the many wizard guilds. The main group is Natsu the fire dragon slayer. Grey who uses a maker magic that uses ice which allows him to either create objects from ice or to freeze objects. Lucy a celestial spirit wizard who uses keys to summon various spirits including many of the zodiac which are the gold keys seen in one of the intros. Erza who uses a type of magic called reequip and can change both her armor or weapons at will and is one of the strongest members of fairy tail and even the whole region. Gajeel the iron dragon slayer Juvia who is a water wizard and is in love with Grey and Wendy the sky dragon slayer. Dragon slayers take on different features of a dragon and get their strength back when they eat their specific element. They can also reach a level called dragon force which is the equivalent of hitting super sayain. Of all the original dragon slayers only Wendy will be able to go into dragon force at will. They learned their magic from actual dragons. 2nd generation slayers like Cobra and Laxus are able to use their dragon slayer magic from a Lacrima implanted into them and then the 3rd generation like Sting and Rogue (who are seen in the tournament opening facing off against Natsu and Gajeel) are a combination of both the 1st generation and 2nd. In the opening it shows them reaching their dragon force level.

For me Fairy Tail is not bad, just that I have watch/read Groove Adventure Rave (Rave Master), before that one, so that kinda a bit boring in the long term to watch something where a lot of thing are only copy/past form Rave to Fairy Tail. (Rave is the same creator as Fairy Tail, but came before, same go for Eden Zero that came after FT.) I don't mind when people take some minor thing/easter egg and put it in there new manga, that cool... but when you literally c/p most of all the character/term use/funny moment/big moment of your previous creations in put it in a new one... that kinda became boring. But for some one who did't watch Rave or Eden Zero, Fairy Tail for my point of view can be great, I would have like it a lot if that was not for Rave that I watch and read before !

There actually is a bas guy, it's zeref... But idk I wouldn't say he is bad because he is not a bad person, he just suffered a lot and kinda lost his mind. Fairy Tail it was the first anime that I actually picked up to watch, It was on the tournament arc when I started it and it will forever be my favorite anime ❤ I recommend a lot❤

Fairy tail zero is going back to when the guild was first created

Well fairy tail for most is a love it or hate it . I for one love fairy tail but now because of the fight scenes but mostly because of the characters . The fight scenes i`d rate them 5/10 or 7/10 ( i still love them lol ) but for someone that likes long fights or great animated fights won`t like them too much . People that dislike fairy tail always say that the characters win with the power of friendship and while i don`t disagree , it is stated from the first couple of episodes that people in the show can boost their magic power because of their feelings and that the true essence of magic is love ( love for their friends / guildmates / parents etc ) . Fake out deaths is an other point that many people hate about fairy tail , and if they do have some characters die in the show they sometimes have fake out deaths too and it may make the characters have 0 consequences for their actions . Also fan service , I don`t really mind it because i`m not into it and I don`t dislike it either but sometimes they put fan service in unnecessary situations like very serious moments or fights and that may be a bit meh . But overall i like the story , the end boss is mentioned since ep 12 i think and the second end boss ( that is tight to the first end boss ) appear in ep 122 . It`s kinda like an RPG game where you have the main quest and do some side quests too but to get to the final boss you must do small main quests , everything they encounter are in relation to the end game boss . I love the characters and even though fairy tail isn`t the best anime i`ve watched i love it and will be on top of my list . Also , if you want you may check the openings for black clover , it has 13 ops and are very very good ... for me black clover is like fairy tail ( only better ) + naruto and i recomend you to watch it if you want and have the time . PS: be careful with op 13 of black clover , it tends to get copyright strikes , you may want to mute it for us when reacting to it .
