As a scambaiter I would not educate this scammers. They as you mentioned are getting better. You should only provide them with just false information. You need to uneducate these scum bags not educated them.

To help put a stop to these scammers, when one is confused, and or scared, take the name of the fake scammer, take the I d number given, call the IRS for verification. These scam baiters are dong a reality good job, trying to keep people from losing hard earned money.

They get a sucker to buy them online and get him on the phone to do a 3-way call with the card balance number and as soon as the guy pays them thinking hes got a great deal they use the code and keep the money from both scams and disappear. 2. The card they really want is google play or other app stores. The scammers write game and other apps then use the card to purchase their own apps and google pays them like they are any other app on their store. There is no way to trace it as a fake since its a real downloadable and playable game. 3. They can sell a card for 75 cents on the dollar to other scammers for immediate cash. And many more ways to turn gift cards into untraceable cash.
