Dassault Falcon 7X / 8X - business jets created by the French Dassault Aviation company at the beginning of the 21st century. The aircraft belong to Dassault's new generation of business jets, which should replace the Falcon 900.
Like their predecessor, they received a classic layout for the family with three engines in the tail. The main achievements of the new generation were an increase in capacity and comfort, as well as a range of about 11,000 km, which classified them as ultra-long-range business jets. At the same time, the Falcon 7X and Falcon 8X retained the advantages of their family: lightness, relative compactness and good takeoff and landing performance, which gives them greater operational flexibility compared to other aircraft of this class.
The Falcon 7X first flew in 2005. Falcon 8X, which took off in 2015, can be considered a deep upgrade of the first plane and is now the main one. About 400 aircraft of both versions have been delivered by 2024. They are used in both private and corporate aviation, as well as in government agencies around the world.

G'day all,100%agree that Dassault make beautiful aircraft,I can remember the Mirage our airforce(R.A.A.F)used until we got F-18's.Those Mirage's were awesome and they looked sleek & mean as, I'll never forget how they sounded taking off and how acrobatic they were.🇦🇺🫡🇨🇵

Happy memories of flying around Saudi Arabia in the early 80s in a Falcon 50 owned by Philips Telecommunications. They had a fleet of Falcons with tail numbers from PH-ILA to PH-ILZ #goodolddays

If I were in the market, which I am not, the question I would ask is about cabin pressurization and relative humidity. In the B787 and the A350, I have found this makes the greatest difference to comfort on long flights.

Usual whinge from myself, 28.48kN = 6,400 lbf. 29.9kN = 6,722lbf. You had just started to note the pounds force of the engines, too. The rest of the video is your typical high quality output. Many thanks as always.

Sky, yes I realise that English isn't your first language, but two things amused me. Of course, the lavatory has a full range of conveniences. It's a lavatory. If it didn't have a lavatory at all, some would say that was inconvenient! If you were to opt for the bathroom instead, how would a non-vertical shower work instead of the vertical shower?

@@COIcultist You should see the toilets in light aircraft like the Pilatus. About the shower. This is business aviation, I admit that on some aircraft the customer will want a regular bathtub and it will be implemented somehow) I’ll try to write the lbf too, to make it more convenient for you

I was also very literally trying to envision a non-vertical (horizontal, perhaps?) shower, not a bath. Yup the 3 engines will be a big matter when compared to the other competitors using only 2 engines. But no doubt Dassault Falcon is considered one of the best and most desired luxurious private jet. Its designed to attract the most wealthy customers IMHO.

I would choose a twinjet . The maintenance costs especially on the number 2 "S" ducted engine would be quite high . The age of the the Trijet is long over .

Everybody does, at least for the manufacturing. All onboard systems use SI units and then do silly conversions for the crew...Just like the flight computers for the Apollo missions did...
