I felt bad about Lemar because he sacrificed himself for his best friend and he was the only one keeping John from losing his sanity fully.

He also urged him to take the serum so... Not really. Lemar considered their war stories as "heroic". In real life parallelism, war veterans often times are unable to reenter society simply because they were trained for one thing only. Kill. Lemar loves their past. Walker sees it for what it is, horrible events. Lemar nudges Walker to take the serum, saying that "Power makes one more of who they are", which is false. Power corrupt. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

The last scene where people pulled out their phones to record the disturbing murder, it reminded me of T’Challa in SoKorea. He was about to murder Klaw but Nakia stops him and says, “My King! The world is watching.”

Also I love the "Steve Rogers was one of a kind" aspect when it comes to his morality, because it completely goes against Ironman telling him "Everything special about you came out of a bottle." Now you have all these other super soldiers running around, that don't measure up. Showing that not everybody has what it takes to be Cap.

A small part of the episode that broke me is that Nico had earlier said he was a fan of Captain America as a kid. He was killed by the symbol he used to look up to while someone bore the Captain America name.

The ending is what shows the difference between Steve and John. When Bucky 'died' in front of Steve, he kept his head on and did what he needed. John, on the other hand, went out of his way to brutally murder a flag smasher in front of a crowd of civilians.

@@OhAUM Steve was ordered to kill on sight if a Hydra Agent tried to kill him or his team. But we know that Steve never tried to kill someone in the first movie only when it was necessary. Even do I guess he did kill some Hydra agents but yeah it was war so that wouldn't have mattered much back then

Wyatt Russell's acting is just phenomenal....The character he is playing is very complex....an imperfect character...An imperfect character is always difficult to play than a perfect character...This shows how much caliber he has...He should be congratulated instead of giving him death threats...😭😭

“Good becomes great, bad becomes worse” is really important in the series but its highlighted in this episode. We were shown that Walker was unhappy with the strength, power, and ability he had as a normal human, so when offered the chance to to take the serum it wasn’t for the good of others the way Steve was chosen when picked to be given the serum, but instead for his own advantage in an effort to gain power in order to have leverage above the rest

I'm pretty sure he took the serum because he knew he wasn't adequate enough to save Lemar in the moment. He took the serum to save Lemar, not because he wanted power.

He took it for fear of his own inadequacy which in this case only served to reinforce further how inadequate for the role of Captain America he is

@Miguel Messina He isn't a psychopath. He is just extremely flawed from his time in Afghanistan and the PTSD he developed from it. After he took the Serum, he was alot more explosive and twitch. Because bad became worse and his PTSD was exacerbated
