As of the last official patch Western Revolvers drop randomly as loot even in the Commonwealth once you pass the level requirement for starting the Nuka World DLC. I got a Legendary one with the "Dead Eye" legendary on it from a random Feral Ghoul corpse in my most recent playthrough.

In survival mode, a Deadeye Western Revolver dropped for me in the Glowing Sea when I went off to find Virgil. Since no quick saving in survival I was paranoid I was going to die and lose it

While i Was getting ready for my streaming series i found half a dozen legendary western revolvers , in fact that and leather armor is the most common legendary items this entire playthrough at least 30 pieces of leather armor and probably say 8 legendary revolvers 2 being non western types, lots of laser pistols as well

Had no idea this weapon even dropped I have two legendary Western revolvers, one is the deadeye prefix which slows down time when you ADS and the mighty Western revolver which does 25% more damage

a knit-pick. Two-shot doens't double your damage. It boosts your damage, gives you a second projectile... but it's sort of like those multiple projectiles do less dmg individually. It's one of the few always present dmg boost effects that has almost NO downside however. If you really want a double dmg legendary effect, you'd have to look into Instigating (+100% dmg if target has full hp) or maybe junkie (can reach 110% dmg boost i think... but you're strung out on EVERYTHING).

If you don't have robotics expert, you don't get the options to hack the robots. However without it if you have high charisma you may skip the duel and still receive the western revolver. I also obtained a two shot western revolver and it does 498 damage with perks :D

I don't know why they don't list the damage per second. My Gauss rifle does about 350 per shot but my laser rifle is about half that yet has a far better fire rate so it can kill enemies a lot quicker. Is there a way to work out the DPS from the damage and fire rate stats?

I have a Two Shot Western Rev but i ignored it and instantly stored it because i thought my Two Shot .44 Pistol was better, damn. Gotta mod it i guess. And yes, revolvers are the best! Missile Launchers would be my prefered weapons but they make a mess out of everything and can't find my precious random items since they've all been scattered into oblivion.

It's likely been said already but, you can get the revolver using the speech check with One-eyed Ike, I did it last night Granted I have Max Charisma and was wearing a +4 outfit for it without Robotics Expert I don't know if Robotics expert's speech check gives you the weapon.

Probably the funniest thing happened after watching this and getting the revolver I know how you said to find a legendary western revolver was very rare but after getting it i went to the atom cats garage and encountered a ghoul horde there after that killing the ghouls i looked around for loot and found a legendary ghoul carrying a western incendiary revolver

It could be wrong (The Legendary Effect) but i think a Legendary Ghoul dropped a Western Revolver for me which does more Limb damage. Really Cool.

Due to the mechanics, instigating may actually be a better legendary than two-shot. Typically the second shot in a two-shot legendary is base damage of the weapon, not modded damage, so it isn't truly "double damage". Add in the accuracy loss, and at range two-shot in general just looks worse and worse, for precision weapons anyway (still love two shot on full auto and explosive type weapons). Instigating on the other hand, first shot on an enemy with full health, double damage. No redux in accuracy, no funky math.

I got at least 2 of these off legendary enemies,thanks to war of the common wealth mod,and another mod that enables dlc weapons to show up in the common wealth,and vendors.I have not been into nuka world or far harbour yet either. One of them has 50% damage to super mutants. War of the common wealth spawns enemy patrols all over,and there are legendary's in each group. Everywhere I turn,there is some shooting and fighting going on somewhere nearby. It's like a real battlefield. Some enemy even dropped a deliverer one time lol!

The real problem with this weapon is that .44 ammo is hard to come by, and when you do come across it, it's usually in very small amounts. Even with the Scavenger perk, I find myself running out of ammo frustratingly often, meaning I have to take time out of my gameplay to go to every shop in the game to buy more ammo or wait by an ammo forge from the Contraptions DLC. Most of the time, I just make do with a different pistol until I get enough ammo to be comfortable using it again.

Same, i tend to use the Deliverer as a weak enemy killer due to the availability of its ammo (10mm) and then use my revolver for stronger enemies. Still, i only have 680 something .44 rounds while i still have 1500 something 10mm rounds. Sure 680 is a lot but i got to a point that i am not comfortable if i dont see 999 in the ammo count :P. I was also planing on building an ammo forge for the .44, but is it worth it? And is it heavy on the settlement size?

Why don’t you manufacture the rounds at a settlement? You only need copper, lead & fertiliser! Use Abernathy Farm as they’ll produce loads of fertiliser or just take it from the work bench where it’ll be stored.

Just saying a way u can get two western revolvers from one eyed Ike is if u have at least the second to last level to the pickpocket perk right before u talk to Ike pickpocket him and he will have a western revolver on him. Steal it then accept his challenge and he'll give u another one

If you have hacker perk you can skip the missions by doing a yellow speech check and it still gives you the revolver

Aeternus is still better because of true unlimited ammo, but given you have a lot of .44 caliber, and the right perks, this pistol is a great weapon. Using Two-shot makes it even better, given I used PS4 mods to make The last Minute a two shot weapon and it one-hit killed everything. Even behemoths and deathclaws, on full charge! The Western Revolver is much the same story.

I got a legendary Western Revolver with -25% Vats Points its very awesome you can shoot like 10 rounds in Vats with it :D

i mean there's also the 2 shot gauss rifle and i m pretty sure with everything it can deal like 15k dmg in 1 shot or the problem solver which can kill god himself with the last shot of the mag lol
