For anyone who thinks this is useless or too slow, I hear you! Keep in mind this was uploaded the same day Fallout 4 came out and before any better methods of infinite XP were found. if you go to vault 75 in the overseer's office there is a master lock you can do this trick with also. great video and thanks for uploading.

is the 12xp (I think you said?) without using squirrel soup? if so you could make this 24xp every time for 2hrs at a time. I haven't seen many things in fallout 4 provide much more than 20ish xp at any given time unless you have low intelligence with the savant perk or by completing quests. quests being the most significant source of xp. so anyway, theoretically you could use squirrel soup to double this yes?

I do this to get cait or piper to like faster to get their perks, they both like lockpicking, I think it's cause it shows your good with detail and your hands

You can find an expert version of this setup (hack and lock) at ArcJet Systems. I think this is a quest required location at first that starts in Lexington /Cambridge Police Station. The expert version would naturally mean more XP. At 5 perception (makes picking easier) and 6 intelligence I was able to pick the lock easily and without breaking a pick 90%+ of the time (wasn't focusing too hard) and was getting 19 XP per loop on normal difficulty.

Get a quick Gatling laser and your set, the weapon runs on fusion cores which you find everywere, melts enemies in a few seconds, easy xp farm. 1 fusion core = 500 rounds.

Subbed Bro, the glitch you found is awesome dude, and if you want to get a high damage weapons, you should go to vault 81, you can buy a weapon called observeer, then upgrade it at weapons workbench, the damage will increase to 82

In the Toy store (where they make that stupid horse) there is a master lock safe and if you find they guy's password for the pc you can unlock that and keep locking the safe back.

also, if you do this trick/glitch. if there's an item that you can't afford, move to your inventory(like if you were to buy it). then do the caps glitch, selling back as many of the ammo you can, then complete sale. the item will be yours.

I did the same thing on fallout 3, but if you change the difficulty to survivor mode you get more XP...just in case you didn't know this!

This can also be done near Concord, there is a safe and terminal in the Super Duper Mart. First place I ran into this!

The brotherhood persuading farmers quest is glitched and you can do it an infinite number of times just fast travelling back and forth.

+nick butera on the BOS ship the guys who sells weapons offers the quest. When you go to turn in the quest there is a glitch and the dialogue cuts out, then you can offer to do the quest again

I haven't got time to check the comments to see if anyone has mentioned this but another great way to get inf XP is Max out idiot savant to x5 XP and do the patrol for Quinlan for the BOS in the prydwen airship and then go out the back of the airship and stand on the barrels to the right and scope out the scribe(standing near the entrance to the left) and snipe them out in sneak, report back and get around 350xp x5 with the perk.

Yeh that's been mentioned a lot, but there are much faster methods of getting XP than that now too and that don't require idiot savant, although it helps of course. You can check them out only channel if you're interested.

You can do this in Vault 75 with a master lock, gives 25xp per lock :)

Tod Howard already mentioned Fallout 4 has unlimited XP. You can level fast just by doing repeatable quests or killing repeatable spawns. Or by ENJOYING the game.

this is an exploit not a glitch. it was built into the game. you can get way more EXP by doing repeatable quest. there is some easy repeatable quest. i got 5 level in an hour. it is also much faster if at first you just run around the map discovering location so that way you can just fast travel there and get the stuff and fast travel back and repeat for easy fast leveling exp.

or you can just get a shit ton of wood on any building place then place tons of fence posts in a row, mixed with idiot savant lvl 2 im getting from regular xp 7 up to 27 xp per fence post.

+Conail Rice no, i use the console all the time, mostly to fix glitches; every time i return to sanctuary that brahmin is on the roof or in the house and i have to use 'moveto player' to get it out. i've also had to use 'tcl' to escape when i got stuck a few times. my achievements are popping fine.

Or you can do the infinite "Learning Curve" quests that Proctor Quinlan gives you for a few hundred XP...

+R3DD3AD47 I only did it a few times for the video. Also keep in mind I was on a low difficulty. Someone said if you set it to a higher difficulty you will get more XP. I didn't confirm this, but it makes sense and that's how it worked in previous games.

I watched on another KZfaq video that changing difficulty does NOT change the amount of XP you earn. It just makes the game harder. That was for enemies tho, idk about location discoveries, lock picks and hacking. But changing difficulty DOES change the rarity of the loot you get. So on very easy you get SHIT loot. That's why I stay on normal. Thanks for replying and i'll definitely view more of your vids since you tried to help. Barely any KZfaq uploaders actually reply to their subscribers.

Cheating in fallout takes the fun out of it, if you level up quickly depending on your difficulty level this gets too easy I play on vey hard and found once I got a plasma rifle and modded it out the game got so mutch easier I got bored on normal difficulty when thus happend so that's why I play on very hard

+Angelo Onofrio It's different every time. Just make 3 wild guesses (unless you know how to do the hacking mechanic which is pretty easy) every time and if you don't get it then exit out of the terminal and go back in to make 3 guesses again until you get it.

As slow as this method is, you'll get to 100 faster by just having the Idiot Savant perk maxed out and playing the game regularly.

+ClusiveC Just go get addicted with multiple negative intilegence chems, and then max out the idiot savant perk. Then, you have the ultimate xp farm. :)

PC users : What is the point of using a glitch (and then corrupting the legit gameplay experience) for XP when you can just MODIFY YOUR LEVEL WITH A COMMAND INGAME... If you want/need easy XP for any purpose just change your level lol. No point in doing the same stupid task or using any flaw in the game. Since you've decided to "cheat", the most easy way is always the best isn'it ? I don't understand people sometimes....
