I like to think the Vipers and Jackals were still there around F1 and F2 but just out of range for the player to interact with. Atleast we got them in FNV although very weak at this point thanks to the NCR and Rangers. Still for story sake it makes sense and I'm glad they're back in.

The Vipers and Jackals are a tragic case as until new Vegas they always got screwed over besides the first fallout both gangs where meant to appear in Van Buren the Vipers would be lead by a man named Drake and the Jackals would be lead by Banshee other Jackals included Howler And Crazy Bitch lastly the Jackals where meant to appear in Fallout Brotherhood of Steel 2 Banshee would have returned as the leader of the Jackals the player would chase him through an airport until another Jackal named Bulldog appeared to fight the player during the fight Banshee would board a plane and escape later on the player would corner Banshee and interrogate him only for him to explode before he could talk

It is ironic that they were brought back as nothing more then generic murderhobos.

As a stargate fan it's funny hearing Killian (voiced by Richard dean Anderson) talk about them "worshipping snakes"

If the next fallout does not have a raider gang called the murder hobos, it's gonna be a missed opportunity.

I'm bummed that we never see more of them in game, as their stories are pretty interesting and in addition to the Khans, also makes the NCR becoming what it has more impressive. Like everyone out of that vault became bastards except for one small group, and wouldn't have lasted without the intervention of a protag. Makes me wonder if they would have survived up to NV if either the Khans or NCR wiped each other out, as both of those factions aren't shy about conquest.

Can you make a video on Salem? I felt there were missed opportunities there with only one quest involving a crazy guy killing mirelurks.

Hey so I just found this a couple of days ago in Fallout 3, but in the Franklin metro station cell space, a little ways south of the main station and platform are two nearly identical sqare rooms, I had no clue this existed and pondered of this had anything to do with any cut space or anything, probably just a place for enemies to spawn or something but I still have no clue what it could be, perhaps this is of interest to you considering you have been going through a bunch of Fallout 3 cut content recently.

i think in new vegas the vipers should of been a full faction a minor one but still a faction their motivations being gaining the ability to mobilize in order to retake their holy land. if with the legion you convince them to join but if you join the vipers then go into the legion you can help the vipers indoctrinate a significant portion of the legion while joining them giving the legion vipers special purple and red armor with a reskin of that one armor that has the banner hanging above the head but with a viper on the banner this giving a special ending if caesar dies the legion becoming unified under the serpent everything throwing in little details referencing roman cults throughout this whole plot direction. The NCR's version of the quest would just be a go here kill everyone quest

It took me three different tries at starting fallout 1 before I could actually get into it but god damn once I did that game became my favorite in the series. Anybody who is a fan of retro games has to play fallout.

Hopefully, someone makes a mod for FO1, 2, 3, and NV. All being connected. One day that is.

Anybody remember the cut line when you raided Mr. House's chambers to access his body? After you activate the wall door with the terminal, Mr. House's line "It's Fallout time!" Is played. And the courier jingle-jangles past the securitrons and kills him.

The Vipers make no sense. If their entire belief system revolves around constant sacrifices and ingesting deadly Venom, where are they getting the fresh bodies? They aren't the only ones in the area that need Humans, Super-Mutants also do. I do not think that part of America would have anywhere near a large enough population of Humans and/or Ghouls to make them feasible. Unless the Giant Viper Venom actually wasn't all that deadly and they just randomly selected who among them would be sacrificed. That seems more realistic. A Giant Snake likely wouldn't have potent venom as there would be no need for it due to it's staggering size.
