This looks like a big win for both Lovebites and Fami. I'm sure by now they are deep into writing and recording new stuff, and she will influence the sound. Can't wait!

She is now 20 years old and was 17 at the time. It was unbelievable and at the same time took away the motivation of those who were just starting out on the bass guitar lol.

This is how Fami played when she was 17 years old (3 years ago) !!! I think it's understandable why LOVEBITES chose her from a lot of contenders for the bass position.Thanks for the reaction!

While she does not have a background in heavy metal, with her talent that won't be a problem. Now they have four jedi level musicians along with Asami, who by the way was an R and B singer before Lovebites.

She might have more of a metal background than we think. Apparently her father is a metalhead and perhaps even a metal musician. She grew up in a household where metal was played continuously and is perfectly familiar with the genre.

@@michaelafrancis1361 about half an hour before I wrote it. It was in a comment on another reaction, mentioning an interview, and was quite specific. But because it’s effectively hearsay, that’s why I phrased my comment carefully.

I don’t know if Fami has a Motörhead cover, but LOVEBITES used to cover Motörhead’s “Overkill” in their early days.

FAMI IS BADASS. I think I first saw her video about 4 years ago. I was like what the hell is this. as i listened to her playing i was drawn . shew good . I was so happy when Lovebites announced she was the new Bass player. sorry Miho. but fami is an upgrade.

The A in Fami sounds like the A in father, you said it correctly in the last video, Fami rhymes neither with Tommy nor Tammy. I tried to comment twice already on how to pronounce japanese vowels, but for some reason the comments keep getting flagged, so um giving up on that. Just know that there are 5 vowels and they only have 1 sound each, so now you should be able to pronounce any A in japanese words.
