I note that you were the only one around following the outcome of the tidal wave which swept the goose family from their waterside home. Seeing them into their new location was something the children who had been involved in the rescue of the little ones missed. Their loss. I wonder if the elderly gentleman whose job it was the smack the vessel's supports away has been replaced by a younger version - or perhaps he was employed at Ferus Smit. Anyway, your coverage of the launch was up-to-par. Your inclusion of some of the pre-launch activities was an interesting extra. ✔ Finally, that was a nice segue from the jazz accompanying your cycle riding into the ambient sound of the spectators by the canal side. ☑

Mooie goede video, mr Shipspotting. Mooi in beeld gebracht jammer dat Royal Bodewes de familie gans niet ff had ingelicht dat er een tewaterlating zat aan te komen. Heb ook de korte video gezien en kon niet helemaal thuisbrengen watcthpe schip dit is maar het blijkt een cementtanker te zijn. Cyprus flag Noorse eigenaar. Groet uit Zandvoort.

Iedere keer weer prachtig zo'n tewaterlating, niet alleen van het grote schip dit keer, maar ook van drie schattige pulletjes. Dikke duim voor de dierenvriend(innn)en!

Now this could easily have ended with dead baby geese. As there was easily enough time to chase the geese to somewhere safer, could you good folks please just do it if such a situation comes up again? 🥺
