In this session, the disagreement is related to the desire for independence in one spouse versus the desire for security in the other. Techniques from several different counseling theories are used including person-centered, existential, and cognitive-behavioral therapy.

I'm less than 10 minutes in but wondering why in the hell he asked her to marry him if he wanted freedom. I mean what?

The problem is, she doesn’t trust him . if she trusted him she would be fine. With him going out.
