Love, love, love the video. I run a Cattle farm ha ha .... The better way to process game is to let it age/hang for a good ten days at ~35° to 40°. Yeah gamey taste can be off set a bit with a little twist of lemon while processing and cooking. Cooking with lots of cracked black pepper can also offset a bit of the gamey test but tastes peppery. I was raised on gamey meats moose, caribou, dull sheep. I found the best way to eat wild game is to jerky it and the best way to cook it is let it freeze it which helps break down the fibers, then thaw slowly and tenderize the puppy water out of it; then bread it like country fried stake with mashed taters and fresh green beans. 🤟😁🤟

Nothing better than a family travel vacation! My parents would go from Idaho to Washington DC and New York in a RV every decade or so with us kid's and see all the sights in between, it'd take 4 to 6 weeks to do it all. You'll have to come a little farther west on your next one to Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Craters of the Moon National Monument, and Glacier National Park and all the sights in between. Really like your family videos!

Wade, you make us all smile. I live up on the north shoulder of Pike's Peak at 10,000 feet elevation. You'd definitely need an oxygen bottle up here. LOL Pike's Peak is 14 thousand plus. Do you think Mommy got sick because of the elevation and not because of the bison? Anyway, it's interesting that you journal, most men don't. Getting out in the middle of nowhere has the same impact on you as it does on me. Nothing like it for getting centered. Love the vids, keep them coming. Be healthy, stay safe and many blessings, Morgan in Colorado

Visiting my brother in Indiana one day, we all piled into the car and headed off to the Dunes National Lakeshore. My brother started down one of the hiking trails and my dad said "I didn't know we were going to hike! I'm just wearing my slippers!". After that day we always referred to my dad's hiking slippers.

I know how you feel not being able to breath Wade I went about 60 miles west of Colorado Springs to climb a tower crane higher on a new cement factory they were building. The winds were blowing over 60 mph for several days we couldn’t climb the crane so we went sightseeing I can’t remember all the little towns we drove around and visited one was 7100’ above sea level. Visited a old hotel where the manager showed us the rooms where John Wayne, Glenn Ford, James Stewart, and John Belushi stayed in while they were filming different movies close to there. Went up to almost 11,000’ and walked in the snow for about 50 yards and was seeing stars by the time I got back to the car the guy with me was a smoker and it toke him about 10 minutes longer than me to get back to the car and we went straight back off the mountain so we could breath. The town we stayed in was just above a mile above sea level can’t recall the name. The next day it took me almost an hour to climb up 50’ of crane tower to get to the top. We rode the hook of the crane up most of the way and then started to climb the ladder up the last 50’. Finished climbing the crane up in high winds so I wouldn’t have to climb back up the next day. I live in Georgia and was in great shape at the time boy was I wrong that was about 20 years ago, now I would drop dead if I tried that now. Great video brother God bless and smile.
